If this is the best Ithaca has to offer, go elsewhere. It's difficult to mess up a basic blow-out, but I left with hair that looked worse than when I arrived. No scrubbing of the scalp, inadequate blow dryer, and an inexperienced beautician. A real disappointment!

I had an amazing experience recently with Cassidy! I got a trim and she did a better job than I get at my salon at home. It was only $37 for the haircut, and I have paid $100 for haircuts that paled in comparison to this! Cassidy was very professional and did a spectacular job, I would recommend seeing her! The interior was modern and spacious!

I fully enjoy every appointment I have at Satori. I see Lynette, the owner for my cuts, color and touch ups. The front desk ladies are always so welcoming and professional. When you go in for your appointment, you’re offered a refreshing beverage and I can only say that from what I’ve observed, that every stylist is prompt and friendly as well! The atmosphere is comfortable, and relaxed. The attention clients are treated to is worth every dollar!

i loved my experience at satori! my hair came out amazing by Cassidy and she was very thorough and careful with how she cut it. i honestly don’t know why there are reviews saying the receptionist was rude because she was nothing but kind and accommodating. i also don’t see how the owner was rude either, she was very kind to me. she only wants what’s best for both the client and her students so i guess i could see how people misconstrue that as rude, but she was very kind with me and i see no evidence of her being rude to neither her clients nor her students.
overall, 5/5 stars. i’m definitely coming back for my next appointment. i’d highly recommend satori and i would recommend helping them out and being one of their “models”. you won’t leave hating your hair, they will make sure of that.

Super nice place, Lynette did my hair today and she was GREAT! I love how it came out, it was exactly what I wanted. Very friendly environment and vibes overall from the second I walked in. And the price point was great for what I got. I will be coming back for my next cut :)

Can't use enough words to describe this place.... Front desk and apprentice super nice and attentive. They belong somewhere valued. Owner, well she's another story. Rude? No, that would be an understatement. Sour? No, that would be an understatement. Angry and severely trepid and filled with projecting insecurities? Unfortunately. In 5 years of servicing thousands of salons all over New York, I have never met someone, let alone a business owner as rude, vile, angry towards someone with no ill intentions towards there business in my life
I hope she finds happiness in the empty hole inside her, would highly advise against giving this business owner any of yours until she seeks anger management classes at worst.

I got a Brazilian Blowout treatment, but I did not get any results even on day one!I had another Brazilian Blowout a few months before at a different salon which was amazing and I had soft, relaxed and frizz free hair for 3-4 months. So, I decided to get another treatment at Satori, and thoughts the results should be even better than the first time (because of the effect of the first treatment). But unfortunately, spending $300 resulted in nothing. I am not sure if they do not use the real material or there is something wrong with their procedure!Service: Brazilian hair straightening
