We've taken our vehicles to John, Jack, and the rest of the crew for over 20 years. They've made exceptions to let me pull parts from scrap cars on Saturday mornings and given me good prices on the parts, even let me keep a broken down car there for far too long. Any issues we ever had were worked out and we're thankful to have good mechanics in our corner. They were able to rehab an old Volvo 240 brake piece for us that was nearly impossible to find a replacement for. Great people, thanks for everything guys!

I took my Prius to the dealership before I went here. I thought they can fix it quickly because I assumed they have the parts and it would be a couple of hundred dollars at most. But the quote was $3993.21 and they are booked out. I am sure they recommended over the top quality repair, but I’m just a regular person, I can’t spend $4000 for something looked very simple. My car is 7 years old, what’s the point of making it look like a brand new car?I took my car to Shade Tree Auto. They are very nice people and understand my needs. They fixed the problems quickly with minimal cost. The dealership wanted to replace everything and recommended to paint everything to much the color.As my car is getting older, it will need more repairs. I’m satisfied with their service and will go back. I highly recommend Shade Tree Auto!Service: Auto body & trim repair

I own a Prius, Lexus GX and an old Chevy Silverado and this shop is able to fix it all! Every time there is an issue outside of scope they call me and give me a very fair price to fix it while at the shop. I could not recommend Shade Tree Auto more. Do yourself a favor and give them a call for your next repair. Wonderful and kind people too.

For several years now Shade Tree Auto has worked on my Cadillac CTS-V. I am only in Ithaca part time, and they have always worked around my schedule. They are extremely friendly, I have always found their prices more than fair, and when a little thing comes up they often do it for free.
