Amazing group of staff and volunteers who work so hard to rescue, care for and help find forever homes to countless animals every year. Best of all - they have the proof to show. Save a life - adopt, don’t buy from breeders.

I adopted both my cats here. They do an in depth intake medical exam, feed them well, and staff and volunteers seem to care a great deal for every single animals well being. I love this place and what they do.

Stella has added so much to my life! She is a joy....playful, a lap cat, and a shadow. Everywhere I go in the house, she follows me. I She loves watching the toilet flush..weird. Staff was very professional, facility clean and well run.

On multiple occasions they have went out of there way to help our animals. I couldn't begin to thank them enough for everything they have done.

When they have a program for spayed and neutered it's a good program.

I've now adopted cats from here twice, both are absolute treasures! The staff here is super friendly and they'll help you meet your new best friend. They do great work in the area, making sure every pet is taken care of. The cats came microchipped, spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and they give you the pets medical history to take to their first vet appointment (which is free!). Go find you best friend and save a local animal today!

It’s a great place for adoption. The staff is very nice, patient, caring and very professional. My cat was adopted from here two years ago and now she is the most important family member of our family. My friends also adopted their cats from here.

The guy who helped us was very rude to us we found a pair of cats and were told they would get along well with our kitten and I really wanted them instead of helping us the guy kicked us out and told us we couldn’t take them. We expressed we were having a baby and I was really excited to take the cats but because I was having a baby he said no he said that we didn’t understand at all what he was saying but I understood very well!! I recommend not going here they will show you the pets and tell you to get out very rude!! They just wanna keep the animals locked up forever I will NEVER go there again and I will tell all my friends and family not to go there!!

Good, clean facilities. I'll be honest, the people working seemed to play dumb about the needs of the highly reactive animals, but I guess if you wait for the perfect home it's never going to come around so you make do with what comes through the door.So that said, obviously do your research. Make sure you know what you're getting into. They exist to save the animals, and if they can find a home for one that absolutely wouldn't otherwise, they'll make a push for it.They are, of course, still doing excellent work.

My husband and I adopted our kitten from here. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us pick the perfect kitten for our family. Several months later I returned here again because a feral cat had kittens under our house, but then got spooked and left the tiny little guys for over two days. When I called the SPCA they immediately took the kittens and found them a foster family to care for them until they could be adopted out. Great work, very helpful and caring people!

The people were very nice. The shelter was clean and smelled fresh. Visitors are told to use hand sanitizer before and between handling the animals. Adoption was easy.

I found three kittens in my drainage pipe and because I didn't live in Tompkins county they couldn't help. And the guy on the phone was very rude. Those kittens ended up getting hit all besides one that my girlfriend took.
