Customer Service is great. Cost is great! But the phone service sucks. Many places downtown and areas surrounding downtown cut in & out every phone call. I'm tired of people saying they can't hear me. I'm tired of not being able to hear the whole conversation and constantly making the person I'm talking to repeat themselves. The service is unacceptable!! It was okay when it was free with the internet service, but definitely NOT paying for it!

Extremely bad experience when trying to close my account. Staff could neither close it onsite nor accept my return device immediately. Had to call the spectrum service number and let the online assistant instruct the store staff, and return my device to a ups store, which spent me an extra hour on this simple matter.

Do not use their Mobile service! They have the worst service and the rudest customer service. Their mobile (cellular) service is useless. Does not worth even if it is free. Avoid them.

The Spectrum store has an absolute horrendous customer service system. I waited an hour and ten minutes to return my wifi router and modem. AN HOUR AND TEN MINUTES for the very simple act of handing over a box and signing a receipt. Why they don’t simply have a drop-off is beyond me. If you’re returning your things, definitely do yourself a favor and mail them instead. Fool that I am, I thought that surely bringing them to the store would be simpler. Not to mention the checkin system on a tablet… there’s no clear signage, so all the customers are going up to the desk only to make the staff waste their time directing everyone to the tablet. The QR code check-in didn’t even work, by the way.
Spectrum, I am begging you to hire more staff and find a way to streamline these processes. This experience made me very, very glad to be cancelling my services.

Bad customer service. Waited in line over 30 minutes which isn't unusual, I was there to inquire about the status of the outtage in my area affecting my service. I was waited on by 2 female employees and was refused the information I was seeking. I was told since my wife's name was on the account and that since I was 'not her' that they 'couldn't talk to me.' I informed them that
i have dealt with that store on behalf of my wife on numerous previous occasions and they told me their store doesn't do that kind if thing (clearly a lie) and they just brushed me off. I didn't care for the tone of their voice either. Later I got through to a customer service rep. at Spectrum who gladly gave me the info I was seeking. I informed her of my encounter at local store. She apologized to me on behalf of Spectrum and informed me they had no right to refuse me that type of information request as it was only a benign inquiry about an outtage situation. She also told me that such an inquiry is not priveleged information and also is not company policy to refuse such a request despite my name not being on the account. I then proceeded to file a formal complaint with Spectrum. Not a way to treat a customer!

You’ll be waiting 2-3 hours here just to return equipment. If you don’t wait 2-3 hours, you will keep getting charged every month for not returning equipment.
