Great student run hotel. Service was genuine & great. Perfect location if you’re visiting Cornell. The physical property is ok, but is nearing the need for renovation compared to modern, newer hotels.

I really hope the Union workers get paid better. We had to use the service elevator. Only breakfast was provided. I'm guessing for the cost of the room and no valet service the stay may have been inconvenient for some. I walked up the stairs (floor 8) so it didn't matter to me, but some people staying there were a bit less flexible. The room was dusty. They had to bring in outside people to service the hotel. Other than these complaints, I would give more stars. I'm hoping the strike makes Cornell realize how essential these people are.

The actual stay at the hotel was fantastic. However not happy with selection of food. Too high class. Not everyone especially those from the south are interested in apple encrusted cherry tomatoes.
Rooms: Rooms were up to date and very clean. Bathrooms could have used a little updating but all in all weren't bad.
Food and drinks: Food was horrible. Stayed there an entire weekend and only enjoyed one item out of about 4 meals eaten at the hotel.

This hotel is beautiful. We had a corner room king and it was so clean , spacious, with fantastic housekeeping staff. The views were beautiful. We didn’t eat in the building but I was told the food is the best in town. Staff all very friendly. Convenient if you are visiting Cornell.

It's a nice hotel. I'm not sure there's a nicer hotel nearby. For me, the value is a bit lacking. The service is great, but the rooms/features are a bit less than my expectation at this price point.
They have some great sustainability initiatives, particularly the reusable water bottles included in the rate.
I do like the concept of the teaching hotel. Pretty cool!
Rooms: The room was a bit small/under featured at this price point.
Safety: I felt perfectly safe in the hotel and on campus.
Walkability: Many things on campus are walkable from this hotel. It's a convenient location.
Noteworthy details: I stayed here for a conference. I thought the Bible placement by the Gideons and the card with access to other religious works was a nice touch.

Hotel within Cornell University, the unbeatable location if you are in the city for an event that will take place within the university. The place is nice and decorated with many allusions to the university. Both the bar and the restaurant are highly recommended.

This hotel is superb as always! The staff is super friendly and extremely efficient. The rooms are beautiful spot clean and quiet. The food options are great...from a spectacular breakfast buffet to a cozy bar for evening drinks and food while watching games on big screen TVs!

This was a fun hotel to stay at, the workers were super welcoming, and they always had something nice to say, we got a great view of Cornell university, and the rooms were really nice and quiet. One thing they should change is the fact that there isn’t a lot of food options at the breakfast buffet. Hope that helps!
