Shipped a TV through these guys a few years ago. Packed in its original box. Paid for the shipping protection. I received the TV broken after obvious signs of mishandling. I tried to file a claim and was denied due to the TV not being packed by them. I wasn’t informed the insurance would be useless since UPS didn’t pack it, if I knew this I obviously wouldn’t have bought it. I even asked the young man (owner’s son?) if the insurance would cover damage and he confirmed. I was calling/emailing the shop to see what they could, even asked for a refund just on the shipping. Was ghosted and never heard back. Bad business.

Very friendly and accommodating staff as I had a problem accessing a code on my phone to process a return... Staff was patient, kind and helpful.

The staff is nice, unfortunately they don’t accept any prepaid packages so it is not too useful as the store is overflowing with boxes and basically they don’t have space. I wish UPS had a bigger location in Ithaca!

I had a very upsetting experience here. I observed behavior from a staff member that I believe was discriminatory toward certain groups of people. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. I hope the business takes this seriously and ensures all customers are treated with respect.

I came here to purchase USPS stamps and was charged $0.95 per domestic stamp and $3.50 per international stamp. For reference, the current USPS rates are $0.78 and $1.70.
I understand that all UPS Store locations are independently owned and allowed to set their own prices for postage. However, there was no disclosure that these rates were significantly higher than standard USPS pricing. I only realized the markup afterward when I reviewed my receipt.
While customers can technically ask about pricing in advance, most people reasonably assume postage will be sold at or near face value, especially at a UPS Store. In my view, this level of overcharging (more than 100% markup on international stamps) without clear notice is excessive and not transparent.
The staff were polite and the store was clean, but this experience has unfortunately undermined my trust in UPS Stores overall, since any location can apply similar markups.
If you want to avoid these surcharges, you are better off buying stamps directly from a USPS post office, the USPS website, or from the Cornell Store itself (they sell stamps, I found out later). Based on this experience, I would not return or recommend this location. I will personally use the USPS in Ithaca or the FedEx on Meadow Street for all boxes, shipping, and printing going forward. I have had good experiences, transparent/fair pricing, and guaranteed quality with them.

Do not bring parcel monkey or other second hand labels. They will not accept it and they will be super mad and disrespectful to you.
Will never come back to that store. They are just taking advantages of students

Terrible experience. Late, unpunctual, and inconvenient.
They were trying to sell me boxes that apparently weren’t even in stock in the store (I need specific dimensions for my items). Once I bought it already and got the receipt, they then realized they didn’t have it. They told me they would same-day deliver to my house later today. This was already really inconvenient since I need to pack early since I’m storing my items on a specific date and time and if I dont store it by then I can’t store it.
That day they ended up never showing up. I had to call again and they said they could deliver it by tomorrow night. They never show up again. I had to call again in the morning on the day I was literally leaving and the day I needed to store my items. They finally deliver my items but it’s was too late and I could only store some stuff at the place I was storing my items. I passed the deadline and couldn’t store anymore stuff since the owner had left already.
Now I’m forced to store my items at their location and pay them more money. In the end they had 3 days of no shows. I wish they would have just told me they didn’t have it so I could take my business elsewhere but instead they just charged me so I’m forced to wait for them.

This family run little store was a LIFE SAVER for my family! We needed to ship my daughter’s belongings home from school (on Memorial Day weekend!). The woman and man who were there were so helpful and kind. They truly appreciate their customers and the students in the community. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and misrepresented their services. I was informed they could not accept a UPS shipping label I had already purchased online, insisting they only accept labels bought in-store—presumably to earn commission. When I questioned this, I was condescendingly told that “The UPS Store” is different from “UPS,” and therefore they don’t honor pre-paid online labels.
If you're unable to accept legitimate UPS labels, perhaps it’s time to reconsider your affiliation with the brand or clearly communicate this policy to customers.
To make matters worse, when I asked if there were any alternative drop-off options nearby, I was told, “Good luck finding one—especially during this time.” It feels like they’re operating as a monopoly in this area, especially since this is the only UPS Store around. The whole experience left me frustrated and misled.

The worst UPS store. They only care about customers who spend money directly at their store, not those who have prepaid shipments through the official UPS website.
I had three large, fully packed boxes with prepaid UPS shipping labels. Due to road construction, the driver couldn’t reach me and advised me to drop off at a nearby store.
However, when I arrived at this location, they refused to accept my prepaid packages. They told me that this store only provides shipping services and doesn’t accept drop-offs, claiming they needed to keep the space for their “customers.” And clearly, I wasn’t considered one.
I trusted their explanation, carried over 120 pounds of packages back home, confused and frustrated. But when I contacted the official UPS customer support, they confirmed that this store’s behavior violates UPS policy. Any UPS store is supposed to accept prepaid packages.
I’m deeply disappointed by this dishonest and unethical business practice. Following the advice of UPS customer support, I have filed a formal complaint.

Drasti was super helpful!! Had an Amazon return that originally had a staples return. Went to staples showed them the QR code and was then told by staples “ we don’t do those returns. Those have to go to a UPS Store”. Drasti helped me change the return. Was in and out! Thank you
