My daughter and I received a notification that our packages were delivered to the mailbox. I went outside my package nor was hers there. The packages were coming from different locations. When I tried to call I was told that the package was scanned and delivered. When I tried to call the direct number to the downtown post office it just hangs up on you. Now I have no way of knowing where the packages are. I was told from one of the representatives (from the 800 number) that the carriers sometimes scan the packages before it gets to the location. That’s insane because if in the process the package gets misplaced it was scanned as delivered when it actually was not.

The clerk was super sick, coughing repeatedly and sniffing, he should of been wearing a mask or better yet stayed home! It was terrible and very rude to stand waiting for him to get done with several coughing spells and wiping his nose as he touched our items was a total disaster!

had a hold mail request and they kept delivering the mail. employees were very unhelpful. i suspect they ibrahim did not look for my package when he went into the back room. super rude and unhelpful

It says the service hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm yet I am standing here at 8:35am and it has not opened yet. Pretty bad for a federal facility. I have received friend service at previous visits though…

Ibrahim was very rude and condescending to me, and the package I sent through him never left the post office, according to the tracking, and is missing.

Normally not one to leave reviews, but I can't let this slide. Ibrahim overcharged me by $25 on my package.I came in later to talk with with the supervisor, they said only he could fix it since packages are assigned to the specific postal worker who ships them. Ibrahim not only completely denied the mistake, argued with the supervisor, but was also really rude to me. I get that errors happen, but this makes me question if it was deliberate or a pattern.

Ibrahim is very unprofessional and rude. Unable nor willing to answer any questions I asked. If you have to use USPS then go to other location otherwise UPS and FedEx in college town are much better than here.

Local knowledge and solid old school customer service! Here, even when the computer says "no", the still give you an answer to your question and are helpful!

Between the stolen packages and randomly not delivering items on certain days then marking tracking as "Delivery attempted, but front door or driveway was not accessible." When I work from home and know its categorically untrue, I now realize I need to start getting things delivered outside of town and drive to go get it as I can't trust my own towns USPS to do anything remotely close to an honest job.

Update: my mother, who sent the box, went to the post office there to see wheee the box was and it’s been sitting at the post office in Ithaca this entire time…unprocessed. Had Mark just simply looked this up when I came…I’d have my box…but now I’ve got to go to a different post office and try to pick it up before it’s finally returned.New in town. My building is also new. The post office marked my box as undeliverable despite our building getting mail all week. The address was indeed correct. When I went to this location to see what could be done, Mark, was no help. Didn’t look anything up. Didn’t give me a number. Didn’t bother to look up my package. Quite literally wasn’t helpful. He also could not have cared less.No one answers the phone.
