“Great spot for when you're craving something cold and fresh! I ordered the fresas con crema, the sweetness of the cream mixed with the slightly tart (but still fresh!) strawberries was perfect for the summer heat, and a good sized portion. Staff members were also very friendly and welcoming! They have a large menu with plenty to choose from, and it's my understanding that they're known for their mangoneada, so I'll definitely come back to try that!”

“The sweet shop is good. The sweets are closer to authentic taste and feel fresh. It is usually crowded. There is eat in place inside with lots of vegetarian menus. Overall a great place. To improvise, sweet shop staff can be more efficient.”

“We stopped by on a VERY special trip with my 78-year old mother and were treated like royalty. Special thanks to Dante and Lindsay for their INCREDIBLE customer service and, of course, Chef Yoon for the most delicious and beautiful chocolate and marzipan confections I've ever had--and I've been fortunate to have sampled from around the world. Make a point to try Stick with Me whether online or while in NYC--you will not be disappointed!”

“Ray is an East Village celebrity. Originally from Iran, Ray jumped overboard a Navy ship to swim away to a new life in the United States. He started the shop in the 70s and has been around ever since. Even when Ray recently sustained an assault, he went right back to work. This institution offers various soft serve, fries, fried Oreos, hotdogs, chili dogs, egg creams, onion rings. Any number of fried foods one might eat after a drunken soirée. Someone commented on his Instagram page, “no one has seen me drunker than this man.” Most things are 7-10 dollars, though there are a few things that are more expensive, like 16 dollars or so. Pretty sure Ray is cash only. Ray still works the spot. He’s about to turn 91. If you want to see him, get on with it. New York changes all the time. One day you might show up, and Ray will be gone. Don’t miss your chance to experience this icon.”

“There is something adorable about a shop that specializes in incongruous antiques such as vintage smoking items, lighters, and ashtrays as well as vintage games and candy.Named after the owner's dog this little shop is mighty. You may not realize what you need from this shop but if not a Dunhill lighter perhaps the Mad Magazine board game? Perhaps just a snack of some vintage candy and a Bazooka gum-flavored soda. You won’t know until less you go. So just walk in, this shop doesn’t disappoint”

“Went in for some chocolate strawberries as a treat this valentine’s day. The girls are so sweet and helpful. Amazing customer service. Even with a long line it didn’t take too long for it to get moving! The girls said it would be a wait for the berries and it take way less time than anticipated. So glad i came here & will definitely be coming back. Delicious berries and kind staff 10/10”

“Easy to find items. Store can be a bit disorganized sometimes, meaning there are boxes in corners or in the store blocking area or just in the middle behind something I guess the employees think would be discreet, like behind a column. Their mobile phone case section has been lacking and I'm assuming there is a theft issue(with their products), because I noticed that when foot traffic is heavy with teens, the security would be within the area following or keeping an eye for them. Sometimes there are no bags available and you have to search for it.”

“The best experience with this wonderful company! I ordered for my son and daughter in law in Arizona. My order shipped on time and all my questions were answered right away. The best part is that my son and daughter absolutely LOVED the treats! Packaging was elegant and according to my ‘kids’ everything tastes delectable. I highly recommend this company in Brooklyn. Special note… they have dairy free and kosher items! Winning!”

I was completely blown away by his outstanding professionalism and extensive knowledge of customer care.I’ve seen customers act rudely and the way he handled it was very professional. This employee is too valuable for this location. I hope corporate sees this comment and promotes him to a higher position. As for the store, it’s clean and organized. I enjoy my shopping experience here.”
