This shoddy, beat up Chase branch has been my destination for an ATM grab more times than I can count. It's close the 74th street subway station, right in front of La Quesadilla Sabrosa (#1), and along a stretch of cash only businesses along Roosevelt. It's only a matter of time before I have to go back, but I have to admit I never look forward to it. For starters, it's filthy. I'm not just talking about the homeless folks sleeping in the lobby after 10pm and hassling folks for spare change after ATM'ing. I'm referring to the sticky floors, sticky buttons on the ATMs, smells all throughout the branch, and some questionable substances on the chairs in the actual branch. I really do want sanitizer after tapping any of their ATM screens. I've needed assistance before with some banking transactions and account related issues previously, and the staff here was less than helpful. I give them kudos for being some of the most multilingual staff (#2) around but give them a hard pass on the actual customer service. It's been this way for years, so I don't expect any overhaul anytime soon. The branch is overdue for some kind of renovation or upgrade. ____________ (#1) La Quesadilla Sabrosa: (#2) English, Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, TIbetan, Nepalese, etc. = Welcome to Jackson Heights

Terrible. Chase in general is careless with customers' money and privacy and this location in particular is bad with regards to service. Hours are inconvenient. ATM lobby that is open 24/7 is frequently used as housing when the bank is closed by aggressive homeless people demanding money - and there is also an Amazon locker in that space, which shows what Chase's priorities are. While the bank is open it is always crowded and chaotic. There are people who camp out there and stay all day, not using any banking services, claiming seats long term while their unsupervised kids run around yelling - not what a bank should be used for. There is never more than one teller on duty at any time (space for tellers is taken up by extra ATMs) so lines are long if you need to do anything beyond an ATM transaction, and often the lines are long for the inside ATMs as well as the lobby ATMs. ATMs are frequently out of order or out of cash. Most of the staff are wandering around the floor sometimes greeting customers but otherwise offering no services and that is not the look when there are long lines.

Instead of hiring extra greeters to wish me hello and goodbye, perhaps you could keep all 3 teller windows open when you are busy?

I wanted to notarize a document and I walked into this branch and they only go by appointment from 9 to 11am which I think is ridiculous for a service that literally takes 2 minutes and most ppl come out of work after 4 or 5pm. I'm a chase customer for years and this was a bit disappointing.

Actual employees are not bad but they need more of them instead of relying on the self service machines.

The lack organization /incompetence of the staff makes this the worst Chase branch in the neighborhood (yes it even exceeds the one on 82nd street in this respect). This branch used to be far better until Chase decided to implement closures of all but one teller window and replace them with ATMs. I am not sure what the manager/regional director/whoever's decision this was was thinking, but there is ZERO logic in replacing human tellers with ATMs in an extremely busy location where the main demographic of its patrons does not speak English as the first language. All the staff are nice enough but they cannot handle all the volume and are constantly running back and forth between assisting confused patrons at the new ATMs and attempting to keep organized with the massive crowd of patrons that need help from an associate not a machine (i.e. Getting your card replaced, opening an account). I've attempted to get assistance from them twice this week and twice this week I have left before it was my turn because in NYC waiting over half an hour at a bank where I have been a loyal customer for close to 10 years is unrealistic, inconvenient, and downright offensive. I have always had positive experiences with Chase as far as banking needs, and this location is definitely a terrible representation of the company. I sincerely hope that someone does something soon.

Go inside. It's actually pretty fast. Avoid the long line for ATM.

These guys are slow, whether there is a line or not. The sunny side and woodside branches are much faster even though the lines are longer.

There's always a line here, but it moves pretty quick.

ATM lines are really long at times. They should consider adding more machines.
