Workers are very professionals and courteous but the bank is very very under-staffed for the amount of people it needs to take care of. Plus, there are ripped up paper trails all over the entrance near the ATM machines. It is very crowded, too. Will have to wait 20-30 minutes to get services. There is a notary public in this branch, for tour information! I was there during 3:30PM on Wednesday. Overall, the branch is just OK.

I went to open a business account with certain documentation with the knowledge that a relative of mine had already opened with the same documentation in the same entity months ago, they did not know how to give me a logical and coherent explanation as to why they opened an account with the same documentation and They didn't leave me. The person who first helped me was lost in the questions I asked him, he only responded that I should talk to the manager. When the manager came, it was terribly unpleasant to have to talk to her since she had no respect and no interest in answering my questions, answering rudely, and since she couldn't solve this, she tried to throw me out of a public place like the bank.I understand that some documentation was missing, but it was not the way to proceed or treat a client. I don't understand how a woman can be so rude as a bank manager (previously, during the hour-long wait she yelled at another customer) In conclusion, I don't recommend this Citibank entity, it was the best.worse

Don’t make the mistake of Banking with Citibank, especially at this Branch.The lines are always long, anyone with a very basic ID can open a bank account, I had to make a 1 hr line just to make an appointment. The nearest appointment was a a week away. I finally attended my 9am appointment, when i arrived had to make line to check in for my appointment, then waited another hour to be seen only after i asked to see the bank manager…After someone finally took care of me it was almost 11am, I immediately decided to close my account . I asked to see the bank manager and was told she was too busy to see me and that she would only call me instead…still waiting for that call…Banking at Citibank was the most horrible experience.

Homeless shelter at night. ATM Machines usually not working. At night is shelter for Homeless so is very risky to use ATMs at night. Day time in plain sight of this bank staff theres always someone opening the door for us coming in and asking for money. The worst branch. This has been reported over and over but they absolutely don't care. Please don't reply to me if you're not going to take action and if you finally do, don't let it be only for few weeks like has always been done then goes back to the same unsecure branch for its customers.

The worse Citibank ever! Its quite unfortunate how people can show up to work and not have the knowledge or care to help. Telling people incorrect information about banking policies which are stated differently on their own site (you need a minimum of $100 to open an account - False), another occasion tried to speak with someone in regards to getting a mortgage and took our info. NEVER received an email or call (they stated they would be in touch) >> ended up going with a different bank. Its not even the Citibank brand its this location. I have banked for years in Astoria with Citibank, always wonderful customer service. its night and day! The Astoria Citibank rep was even surprised when i told her of my experience at the other branch.If you need customer service don't use this branch.

If i could give this place and the bank 0 stars i would. I deposited two checks on october 5th. One of the checks lesser amount . After a week i check my account and only see the check for the less amount . I am freaking out at this point because the other check was for almost 50k . I tried calling and ofcourse the automated system is not so easy to get around. Finally got in contact , with a representative and the check was not deposited because i forgot to endorse on the back . Understandable that the check was not deposited but at no point was i contact to inform or the check was returned . I had to call to ask what was going on for them to return the check . I have been a loyal customer to citi for almost 8 years now and this incident has made me feel like they do not care about their customers at all. This was my life savings and they did not handle it with the care that it needs. I am just waiting for the check to be returned so i can close the account and take my business elsewhere.

Inadequate number of tellers, long lines, rude staff, and to top it, after withdrawing money at the teller 3 bills of 100$ were returned as bad bills when deposited at the ATM! From the bills given by a City’s employee at the bank?! ?♀️?♀️Appalling!

I booked an appt. on the app to prevent wait time at the branch (wait time more than 3 hrs). When I arrived to the branch I was still asked to wait in line (30 mint wait). Once at the help desk they took name down and ignored that I had scheduled an appt and stated that the banker who I had scheduled the appt with was not in and wouldn't accomodate me to see another banker with my scheduled appt. I was asked to sit and wait. I was never notified in any way with the app or email to reschedule and branch did nothing to help fix their error. Terrible experience with the app and customer service at the branch!

Many stuffs in this branch not knowledgeable. I personally try to avoid this branch. A certified cashier check's fund become available in my account for immediately use, but stuff (including manager) in the branch said I can not use this fund to make another certified cashier check. So I had to withdraw same fund from ATM and came back to teller to make the cashier check.

Have tip ready, there are days when a guy will be there opening the door for you to get a tip. Broken ATM's inside the bank is a normal thing even now, that they've installed new ones. I'm giving two stars because at least theres no homeless sleeping inside, like they used to. We love Citibank but this Branch..well, is the closest and have no choice but to use it.

Soo much faster than Capital One, AND near closing time, AND with more clients.When the tellers are ready, there's a sound and a neat bar-light under them that lights up.There are hand sanitizers and sanitizing wipes. A door manager. (Lolz, but important) and receptacles for those wipes.Service was pretty quick. Def plusses to my earlier-difficulty with Citi Bank, as a whole (at least, for this branch).

Very relaxed attitude. Took more than 30 mins to entertain a customer. Wish there are more able and customer friendly staff.
