This is one of those if I could give 0 stars I would reviews. Purchased four standard radiator covers over the phone that didn't fit (total just shy of $900). I called to make sure I could return or exchange them and provided the sale date and invoice number. I was informed of a restocking fee if no longer in paper (they weren't) and that covers must be in good condition and never used (check & check).Fast forward to today and my attempt to exchange. Initially I was told I can't exchange them because the covers were "damaged." Then told I could exchange for half store credit (to cover costs of refinishing). When I gave the sizing I needed, I was told I would need custom covers for more than double the price (but still get that very generous half credit because, you know, they wanted to do me a favor). When I declined an exchange, it then became 25% store credit of the price because the covers "can't be resold." But they felt bad for me so would do me a favor of still allowing a return. What in the used car salesman is going on at this place?After multiple attempts to escalate to management, I had the displeasure of speaking with owner Mike Rubino, who was as sarcastic as he was unhelpful. While informing me that the radiator covers could now "only be scrap metal," he said the store employee was covering a 25% refund out of his own pockets. Look if you want to steal people's money, just say that. A restocking fee and even refinishing fee is understandable. Keeping people's money just because you feel you can is, well, clearly not.Attached photographs taken inside the store with what's left of the "scrap metal."

Purchasing from Stanley’s Furniture was the greatest decision! We LOVE our new couch! The customer service was by far the best experience I’ve had in the business world! Can’t wait to work with them again in the near future to furnish my next room! Thank you Stanley’s!!!!

- Our furniture was ordered with Stanleys Furniture on July 5, 2021. We ordered a sofa and armchair and added the extended warranty. At the time of purchase we discussed with Andrew (one of the owners at Stanleys) the current supply chain issues. When asked about a timeline for delivery, Andrew responded " orders are averaging 6-8 weeks and joked that we'll see you in September". Based on that response we placed our order. - In mid September 2021 we came into Stanleys for an update on our order. Andrew was not there but we saw another staff member, Chris (?). Chris stated that Andrew would never have told us that our furniture would be ready in 6-8 weeks as orders were averaging 6-8 months to deliver. Trust me, if Andrew had told us 6-8 months we would not have placed our order with Stanleys. I emailed Andrew on September 15, 2021 looking for clarification but never received a response to that email. - In late October 2021 we came into the store again. Andrew wasn't there that day either but his partner (brother) was. He was clearly agitated as both the people in front of us and those behind us were also looking for updates on their orders. Andrew's partner advised that he wouldn't even ask the manufacturer for a status update until December 2021. - On December 26, 2021 I again reached out to Andrew by email looking for a status update. Andrew responded on January 4, 2022 with a vague update that the furniture would be ready for delivery in March or April. - On March 15, 2022 after not hearing anything further from Andre or anyone else at Stanleys, I reached out by email again. Andrew responded two days later that the items were due to be delivered to their local warehouse in the beginning of May. My wife also asked Andrew for an update and he advised that the sofa and armchair had an expected delivery of early June. Not sure how we received two different answers but this has been consistent with our experience at Stanleys. - On June 2, 2022 my wife emailed Andrew again to confirm that the sofa and armchair would be ready for delivery as noted in his prior communication with her. His response was that the factory was closed and that he would need to check with them for a status update. My wife responded that we needed a confirmed arrival date (not the vague responses we had consistently been receiving) or we would be contacting Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. A week later my wife received a call that our furniture was in and ready for delivery. Did the fact that we told Andrew that we were going to escalate the matter have anything to do with the furniture finally being ready for delivery? - The furniture was delivered this past weekend (June 18, 2022) and we are very satisfied with the quality of construction. What we are not satisfied with is the poor customer service and lack of interest in the customer by Stanleys. We fully understand that supply chain issues so many industries are facing but in transparency, we ordered two other custom pieces of furniture for our living room makeover from two other vendors. Both were ordered after we placed our order with Stanleys and both arrived months before the items purchased at Stanleys did. - What is most frustrating and angering is that throughout the entire process of ordering the sofa and armchair and waiting for delivery, Stanleys never once tried to reach out to us to provide us with any type of updates. All of the communication we did have with Stanleys was initiated by us, the customer, based on the fact that Stanleys had basically disappeared into the wind after we placed our order with them. The ultimate frustration is that not once did Stanleys offer an apology for the delays in the manufacture / delivery of our furniture or thank us for being patient. It's as if the process was a purely transactional one for them. Sell the furniture, respond only when the customer asks a question and then deliver the furniture. Nothing more ... nothing less. I have been purchasing my furniture from Stanley's for over 20 years. My first home was fully furnished by them and my new home as well. The experience has always been nothing less than amazing. The salesmen, staff, and delivery personnel are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They work with you on each room and make sure everything will fit and look the way you want it to before you place the order. They make sure to call and check that you are fully satisfied after the furniture is delivered. They have that personal touch that is rare to find in big box stores these days. This will definitely be my furniture store for life.
