Prices are crazy high and have increased since the pandemic. I go farther away for groceries because it's so expensive , and the produce section is overpriced and not the best quality. I only come here if I'm too busy to go out elsewhere for groceries. I've bought chicken breast that was rubbery and almost grey a few weeks ago .. make sure you're checking items diligently. Deli section is really good, and the employees are very sweet and helpful throughout the store. Store is clean and organized well. Lines can be long but move quickly. Ideal is okay, but could be better if prices made more sense and produce items were always great quality.

Don't plan on getting what you want. Always things advertised but never in stock. They do not give rain checks. They just say to come back another day as if everyone has the money to spend on gas or busfare to do that.

I go here sparingly. I don't know what the hell happened once C-Town got the boot, but nah... Case in point. Roll in there. I need to make spaghetti. They've got a promo for spaghetti sauce 2 for $4. Bring up two jars, and there's a discrepancy in the price at the register. I tell her there's a sign saying this is on sale. I then go back and forth with the cashier, ultimately saying "Hey, I wouldn't be standing firm about this unless I knew what I'm talking about." Cashier calls a dude to check it out. Dude doesn't even know where the hell the sauce is... I signal him to follow, and lead him directly to the sauce, and the signage with the promo. He tries to weasel out by asking what type of sauce I got. Same sauces mentioned in the promo, my dude. He doesn't apologize or anything. Just RIPS the sign right off the shelf. I smirk and laugh to myself cause this whole thing is just absurd at this point. Dude turns like he's going to do something cause I hurt his pride... I got an old dude behind me at the register who's patiently waiting while this disorganized store gets it together. I apologize to him directly. Cause that disorganization is wasting both my time and his and I felt bad. Ever since Ideal took over, that store has taken a dive. I'm not even expecting some top-tier, staff that waits on hand for my every whim. Just HAVE CORRECT PROMOS FOR ITEMS. Apologize and take the L if you have a mistake. It's fine. Don't get all pissy about it. Maybe I picked the wrong item on the wrong day, but the ensuing lack of professionalism just rubs me the wrong way.

This Market is by far one of the nicest and cleanest in the area and it offers a wide range of produce. People who work there seem pretty friendly. The only big problem is when you ask for help the employees never seem to communicate in English with each other and that can be perceived as very rude to non-Spanish speakers and tend to be having side conversations while ringing you up or bagging your things.
