I was happy to look around in there for their grand opening week but i was surprised that they were a little more expensive than most beauty supply stores ($1 to $2 which is a lot if your'e working with a small budget) They have great wigs! The customer service is excellent.

I was so please with the quality of service I received. My daughters hair was damaged and the owner explained to me what to use. He even demonstrated on his own hair for me exactly. What I should do when putting gel in my daughters hair. After 3 weeks my daughters hair is growing back and looks healthy. I highly recommend Silk Touch Beauty.

I used to visit this beauty supply as a teen when I lived in the area. Was in that part of town so I decided to see what they had to offer for synthetic bulk hair as I wanted to have twists done for the first time later this week. I spent a while in there going over the different textures (even helped a woman try on and select her first wig in the meantime) because I was REALLY unsure which texture to buy. I now live in the city and felt like I wouldn't be able to return items easily if I bought the wrong thing. While looking through the textures I was told by a store assistant not to pull out hair from a particular brand because it was hard to refasten and repackage. A few minutes later I simply opened the flap to visually compare luster/texture and whether it would blend well ( because there weren't enough packages of the brand I had settled on ). The manager of the store yelled and scolded me from across the store, in a store full of customers, in a very condescending way because he feared I was "damaging" the item. I was still going to make a purchase (about $30 worth of synthetic hair and $15 worth of styling products) but gently mentioned that I don't think he should speak to customers in that type of way. He became irate and really loudly spoke over me and pointed to the video surveillance system. I asked him if he could show me what I did wrong and assured him it was a misunderstanding because I would not have intentionally damaged anything. He was unable to produce proof. He proceeded to go back and forth and finally became short with me stating, "do you want it or not? " I declined and left without anything. At the end of the day, customers are sometimes exploring new things and don't know store policies. We may need guidance on handling products for which store owners and managers may be experts. However, even if the customer is in the wrong (which I was not) you should never berate or scold people who are spending their hard-earned money. I'm not saying for anyone not to shop here but demand your respect, if you choose to do so. After all Mr. Beauty Supply store owner, there are 100s of beauty supply stores on every corner, so customer service may be your most competitive way of keeping satisfied, loyal customers. I certainly will never be one of them.
