If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Where do I even begin. I believe they went under new management or changed some people from the service team. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE what so ever. These people are disgusting in the way they talk to you. I understand it's not dealing with people everyday but it's their damn job!!! I had my car here for over a month. I called in to speak with my service advisor, which he was never available and then called back a day later or when I called back 2 days after my initial call. My pricing for fixing my car was very high and I asked if they did any type of financing or if they could work something out with me, etc. They do not and it's a bit of an inconvenience but I overlooked it. The day the service advisor called me, about 2 days later, he let me know he was going to be out, I was going to call the next day after making a decision on what I was going to do with the car. I called the service team and I was told I was going to get a call back. A WEEK passed and nothing. I called back the following week and again, NOTHING. It took about 3 weeks for me to reach someone. I finally gave the ok to fix the car, and was told it was going to be about a month to fix. Fine. I took a trip 2 days later, and they called me the day after telling me the car was ready for pickup. I advised them that they had mentioned it was going to take a month and I was out of the state for the next few weeks. The guy on the line went along to say, well then today is your lucky day because it's ready. First of all, the snarky unnecessary comment, was rude in itself. I explained I was away and. Or coming back for a while and they said it was fine, the car would be here for when I came back. The day before the month of May finished, the same advisor, Called me and asked if I could make the payment for the vehicle over the phone since I wasn't going to pick up the car in a few weeks. I was SO DISGUSTED WITH THIS REQUEST. He said his manager asked him to call to collect payment. The nerve! Long story short, I did NOT make the payment and picked up my car when I came back. When I go ally picked up the car, the engine light was still present on the dash, and the engine cover was in my backseat! it's a damn shame because I have been bringing my car since I got it in 2013 and NEVER once had a problem here. Yes I'm sitting here figuring out what's wrong with the car since they took it back for the engine light. Update: waiting for a loaner car. They don't want me waiting here. Who knows what happened. I will definitely update this review as I see fit.

I made an inquiry through their Internet Service Rep. Nikkita , who put me in touch with Milton, who was transparent about all aspects of the lease who brought me to Leon the sales manager. No games, no switches. I have leased 5 Wranglers in the Past 15 years. Hands down the best and easiest Dealer I have ever dealt with.

Hi. I will never go through this dealership ever again. Let me tell you how this snowballing situation started. August 4th, I got an oil change from the dealership that the car I leased from. I must begin by saying that the car I am referring to is a 2021 Jeep Compass. A week later, the 'Low Oil Pressure' sign popped up. I called the dealership and was told that since it happened once, to call back after it happened again. A few weeks later, I kept receiving the "Low Oil Pressure," and my car would shut off and shake when I tried to turn it back on, so I called Stars dealership to inform them. I made an appointment for September 20th. I called earlier this week and was told I needed to get it towed. My thought was, do I have to pay for it or does Stars? They told me they had to go through my insurance. Me not thinking anything of it, I contact my insurance, who then tells me that it is not on them (why would it? I understood where they're coming from). This is when my frustration begins. Then I get into an argument with Keleon regarding who would pay for it. I then decided to drive it closer to the dealership so my insurance would cover it. It doesn't. That's when I officially lose it. Stars did not take accountability for their mess up and made it seem like it was my fault that my car was messed up. After expressing my anger, I received a call from Keleon that they would foot the bill for the towing company. At that point, I had already scheduled it to get towed to another jeep dealership. This is where it ends for Stars, but my frustration then begins. Not only did the towing company lose my keys, and I have had to come out of pocket $300. But this raised my blood pressure beyond measure. To think this has started from Stars messing up my oil change. So because I've been without a car for a month, who will reimburse me for my September lease payment? Oh, and if you need my diagnosis to see what was the reason being for my car turning off, please feel free to contact me. I have my paper stating exactly the reason behind it. FYI it was due to a bad oil change.

This rating is a new rating based on service. Thank goodness they are under new management. Service Manager the new guy prioritizes his customers! There are still a few old faces, however been there two days in a row with my Jeep's and they were prompt for notifications, and the fact the new manager is trying to make process as smooth as possible. All in all, so far I'll be bringing my Jeep's back for service instead of going to the other locations I used to like Jeep Garden City. Definitely a plus knowing I'll be properly taken care of in the future with prompt service. My previous opinion of them wouldn't have even gotten 2 stars.

I contacted this dealership on 8/23/2021 and spoke to Nikita. My lease is ending September 2021 and I was really interested in getting the Jeep Grand Cherokee L. I scheduled an appointment with Nikita to test drive and go over lease options as I was ready to lease. Nikita scheduled my appointment for 7pm and I confirmed with her over the phone. I arrived at the dealership at 6:50pm just to be told by the two men sitting at the front desk that I just missed her. I was informed that she left for the day and she had to leave a little early. The gentlemen at the front then informed me that the showroom closes at 7 and my appointment was actually scheduled for 6pm. I pulled up my notes that I created in my phone as I documented all the information that was given to me over the phone by Nikita. The two gentlemen at the front desk didn't know what to say. Even if my appointment was scheduled for 6 pm or she made a mistake and told me 7pm, why wasn't I called at 6:30pm to see if I was still coming or would like to reschedule the appointment? I guess that's not something they do . I would not recommend this dealership or sales people.

I would not return to this dealer for service, a recall not even an oil change. I took my 2014 Dodge Challenger RT there for service for cylinder #8 misfire. I was well aware of the work that needed to be done which was camshaft and lifter replacement. I received a call from my advisor telling me that my drivers side door was "Not Opening". My door jams as a result of the motion sensors Dodge placed under the door handle and going to a brushless carwash and the guy at the car washing improperly pulling at the door handle to open the door. Unfortunately due to his ignorance the door jams ever since. However I ask the advisor can they fix it while the car is there to be told No you have to schedule another important. What an inconvenience. So back to the major problem at hand my vehicle was kept for a day to be called first thing the next morning that the Lifters in my engine have become demagnetized over time and I would need a New Engine which would cost me $10,000 or more. I'm having the vehicle diagnosed by the original dealer I brought the vehicle from which repaired this in 2015. This all started due to the Infamous HEMI Tick associated with these 5.7 Liter engines . Strong engines but Very Poor Engineering Design.

Purchased a 2021 Dodge Durango today and I couldn't have been more happier. To start Jonathan Rubio was very helpful, honest and knowledgeable about the car. The gentleman (can't remember the name and I apologize) who helped me with the financial part was also great! I highly recommend this dealership and Jonathan. Thank you again!!

I attempted to make an appointment for service, I contacted the help center and waited for a call back I never received it. I then called a number from previous service and finally got an appointment .I brought in my 2020 ram which was under warranty I told the service man that I got a squeaky noise in my suspension the mechanic couldn't find it I came down and when we pulled in the driveway after riding several blocks .I drove over the speed bump and he finally heard the noise. I was told it was a bent sway bar which I was told I had to pay 600.00 . I took my vehicle to my mechanic and he pointed it out the sway bar was not damaged . I also had to pay for diagnostic and was never told prior to bringing in my vehicle even though it is under warranty.

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. Long story short: this dealership has NO customer service, horrible communication & give people the run around. My dad's Jeep Grand Cherokee has been in their possession for "service" for over TWO MONTHS. In this time, the only updates we've received were due to us calling nonstop and demanding to speak with someone. We've received no service from them; every time we go to call the person(s) we need to speak to aren't there or aren't available. They allegedly don't have loaners, yet my dad is still paying the car note on the car that he isn't driving. This place is filled with CROOKS. Unprofessional, crooks. I would never suggest for anyone to go through this dealership for anything! We've called corporate and they weren't any help either.

Just had an appointment at Star Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. Queens is having an uptick in Covid cases. ZERO staff were wearing masks. The sales person directly across from me never put his on. I remained standing, Hoping he'd put his mask on. He said "you're making me bug out standing there. Come on, relax. Sit down." Due to Covid, I had selected the vehicle I wanted to see in advance, as opposed to spending extra time shopping around. The salesperson avoided having the car brought around and instead launched into offer/application paperwork ("let's get all your specifics and then we can look at the vehicle.") I twice told him I had financing lined up with my bank and can we please just take a quick look at the car to see if we're interested before proceeding any further with paperwork. He then said the vehicle was 25-30 minutes away at the Belmont Racetrack. Again, I had an appointment to view this car, it's a hotspot neighborhood in a pandemic, and I was getting the most awkward version of a pushy hard sell from a maskless guy: telling me I was making him uncomfortable, that I was making the process complicated, that's he's done with 27 years, etc etc etc I remained totally friendly and breezy, but finally said I'd prefer wait outside in my car and answer emails until the vehicle was ready for me to take a quick test drive. My husband and I decided the experience was so bonkers and uncomfortable that we were just going to leave. I called and informed whomever picked up at the sales department that we just weren't comfortable with everyone unmasked while Covid cases are spiking and that we were feeling a little bullied by our salesperson...so thanks for their time, but we were not comfortable sticking around. He said "sorry about that we stay 6 feet apart and get tested twice a week." But then pretty quickly hung up. I was super polite and calm the whole time. The original salesperson then called us from his personal cell phone and left an angry message saying that the car was there for us to drive and that "he heard we called and said something derogatory about him, and why would we do that". Then hung up. So yeah--zero evident Covid protocols, zero preparedness for an appointment, strange insistence on doing paperwork before showing the car, and then an angry call from a personal cell phone. Super weird experience!

My experience at Star Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram was the simplest thing I've done in a long time! I recently sold my old car, and I needed a new car ASAP! I was able to complete my transaction (leasing a brand new vehicle) in two short visits. And they probably could have done it in one visit but I came in close to closing time on day 1. The salesman I worked with, Damien, was straightforward and the manager he communicated with was straight to the point. They didn't waste time with the games and the back-and-forth that you usually experience at so many other dealerships. I told Damien my budget, and he told me how I could to get there. Easy Peezy. I love my new Jeep Cherokee, I'm super pleased with the dealer and plan on referring my friends and family there. And, I got some cool merch at the end of the deal. Done and done!

Love this place! Just bought my first car and had an easy experience with this dealership. Damien is the person who helped me. He was kind, attentive, helpful and answered all my questions. I had a lot of questions as a new car buyer. Everyone I talked to was friendly and even make jokes to make my husband and I laugh while we waiting for paperwork to finalize. I appreciate all their help even when I had a little bump because of credit they did their best to get me a good deal. I'm in love with my 2020 Jeep Compass Thank you Stars and thank you Damien for all your help. We appreciate it!

By far, the worst service I've ever received in my life!! They deserve zero stars!!! I saw a car on their website on 6/26 and called in to inquire. I spoke with a sales rep, Javier and made an appointment to come that very afternoon at 5pm to see the car. When I arrived Javier was apparently assisting another customer and I was directed to another sales rep, Damien. Damien then searched for the car and could not locate it. After 30mins, Damien states that the car was sold. I was like "what ?? I spoke with Javier earlier and he said nothing about it. Damien apologized for the mistake and said that they had a similar car , same make and model in white. Which he also could not locate. After another 30min, Damien said the car was not on the lot but will arrive in a few days and that he will call or text me with pictures and information. Over the following weekend I didn't get any calls regarding the car so I checked the website. The car was listed and seemed to be in good condition so I called the Star dealership and made another appointment for later that afternoon. I arrived at 4:45 on 6/30 met with Damien again and saw the car. I was excited for the car and it seemed like a good deal. There was a scratch on the front bumper that they also stated they would paint prior to me taking possession of the car. I left a deposit and provided Damien with the pre- approval and down payment information because I was also trading in another car that had an overage. This was on a Tuesday. When I left the dealer, Damien stated that he will text or call me to follow up on the the financials. Their finance person was not in the office the day I was there and I was told that he too will call me with the details for the monthly payments etc. The next day, I did not receive a call/text. I left messages for a return call, which I never received. I called 3x for a follow up and got no where. I mean how long does it take, The loan was approved, im putting down thousands of dollars , what is the hold up? After calling again with no results, I resigned myself to just wait till they contacted me. And let me follow up with THEY NEVER CONTACTED ME. After being frustrated for a week because I expected to be in my new car, I decided that I no longer wanted the car or wanted to continue with their terrible service. So I called the dealership on 7/6 and they transferred me to sales, where a male answered the phone and was unbelievably rude. I asked for Damien and was told that he was not at his desk. Then the male stated that he could take a message, just tell him what I wanted. I stated that I left a deposit on a car, and I was no longer interested in purchasing it, so please give Damien the msg and tell him I would like my deposit back. The male then said , you gonna have to come in for the return. I said why?" There was a sign that said , refunds can be mailed of refunded electronically and that sign is at Damians desk. Is that not correct?" He then says hold on, puts the phone down and proceeds to say, I don't like the way this chick talking to me on the phone, I'm a god damn gangster, I don't have to listen to this s**** When he returns to the phone, he says, you gonna have to come down here for the refund and then he hangs up before I can even give a complete response. I called back and requested the manager, which seems to always be unavailable. Go to this dealership, if you want to be ignored and treated like trash!!!

I'd like to start by saying the car was fixed quickly and works great. My biggest issue is that I have a warranty on the car, when I hopped on a call to go over what is needed- Lou stayed I NEEDED a few things outside of what the warranty covers VS telling me it's highly suggested. Very important difference between a need and a suggestion. The items covered under the warranty would have gotten the car running and I could have gotten the other repairs done at another point. Instead I was lead to believe I needed the other repairs and had to cough up $700 for repairs. Dishonest and scumbag move. Be honest and fully transparent with your customers. I trusted your expert opinion and you took advantage. Hope this story can help anyone shopping here in the future to be aware.
