Called ahead and the Pharmacy tech refused to tell me the use of a specific medication claiming I had to show I'd to get info on the drug despite me saying birthday and everything.. I dont even want to go to this pharmacy now and will probably transfer to a local one instead.. hire better pharm techs. I'm reading other reviews and it looks like it's just racism from black people here so that explains a lot. You need a whole new staff though

Very prejudice went to load my cashapp card and was rudely turned away twice.Had to go to another Walgreens to get service two miles away.They need to close this location doen.Seriously considering calling corporate

I waited over an hour at the pharmacy (despite it being sent two days before) to get my prescription while being in severe pain only to get home and notice that they gave me expired medication with the date scratched out and new date written on. This is unacceptable to say the least.

My prescription was sent and verified yet an American black woman with glasses searched my DOB and my name and told me nothing is coming up. I call my Doctor’s office again and they said this location always gives issues. I go back to the location and another person said my info wasn’t coming up and then proceeded to ask for my insurance card. Why didn’t the lady I spoke with the first time ask me for my insurance card???!!! The 1 star reviews are correct. The people here are careless af! A preschooler would have gotten the job done.

This place will fill your prescription and not even text or call to let you know that it’s ready. The black male pharmacist assistant told me 10 mins and ordered me to sit and wait. I never received a text or call that it was ready, nor did he come to the waiting area and call my name. After waiting 30 mins, I had to walk over to him to find out that it was ready. Simply dumb. I don’t recommend this location for prescription services. Black people in this area need to take their job seriously and learn proper communication and professionalism.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. I’ve been waiting to speak with someone from the pharmacy for well over 30 mins just to check if my prescription is ready for pick up that was sent there 2 days ago! Instead of answering the phone someone will pick up and place you back on hold rather than say HELLO..! This is ridiculous! Customers have serious health issues and have to wait days before a prescription is refilled! Not to mention the long lines you have to wait on to pick it up!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and find another pharmacy for your medication.

Pharmacy pick up line is ridiculous. Not enough workers for a big store. I would recommend any other Pharmacy but here. Doesn't seem like there's no leadership.

On Oct 5th, 2023 at 3:28pm, I contacted this Walgreens pharmacy regarding the status of a prescription. I waited for 1 hr 2 mins listening to the voice recorder repeatedly stating "there are more than 3 callers ahead of you." This number eventually decreased to 1 caller, the phone rang and eventually disconnected. The lack of customer service and care for customers in predominantly black neighborhoods is very frustrating. If I call any pharmacy in long island, my call is almost answered immediately. This walgreens location is a 24 hour establishment and this behavior is unacceptable.

I rarely rate anything, but this hell hole forced me to! This place is where customer service comes to die, people!! I came to get a vaccine that I had an appointment scheduled for, but somehow I ended up waiting for over 40 minutes with no explanation. They initially asked me what I needed then asked if I had an appointment scheduled then proceeded to ignore me like I wasn't even standing there. When I asked what was happening, one of the lousy staff said "we only have one pharmacist here today". Well, why schedule appointments if you can't fulfill them in the first place?? This is the only time I wished I was a "Karen" but the human in me just looked on and waited patiently. I would rather eat rocks than come back here!!

The lines are looong ( the back length of the store) for the pharmacy. The employees behind the pharmacy counter have limited accurate information and the pharmacist doesn't seem to care. Sadly this is a community of elderly people and working class individuals and it's time they do something about this issue. Thankfully I have options so I will be removing my family's medication from this location.

Worker Annmarie is very rude. I greeted her and asked her a question, but she kept walking and went into the back room with her gray cart. I spoke with her manager, he told me her name. When he spoke to her, I heard her deny it and was yelling at him. However, she spoke about me as if she already knew what he was referring to. I didn't say anything because her lack of respect towards him spoke volumes enough.

I think this pharmacy goes out of its way to provide less than 1 star service. I called the pharmacy and was placed on hold with that awful music. When the phone line finally rang, I heard a male speaking to someo else briefly on the line and then placed me back on hold. THIS HAPPENED 5 MORE TIMES. You can imagine how desperate I was to speak to the pharmacy about my prescription for me to sit through someone to keep picking up my call (which I can hear him doing) and them immediately putting me back on hold. It's either incompetence or they aim to provide horrible service!
