A Hidden Gem for Antique Lovers
If you’re into unique and eclectic finds, Lumber + Salt is an absolute must-visit. This one-of-a-kind antique shop is packed with an ever-changing selection of random, fascinating treasures. Whether you’re hunting for colonial Victorian décor, rustic wood pieces, or interesting metals, there’s always something eye-catching to discover.
What makes this place even more special is their charming coffee, tea, and juice bar. During the off-season, it’s open on weekends, and during peak summer, they serve drinks all week long. It’s such a delight to sip on a freshly brewed coffee while wandering through the store, taking in the blend of history and craftsmanship.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through the area, Lumber + Salt offers a memorable experience for antique enthusiasts and casual browsers alike. This is definitely a place where you can lose track of time and maybe even find a piece of history to bring home. Highly recommended!

This antique shop is amazing and is the measure of all others for me now. Coffee shop is delicious. Best coffee I've had in quite a while. The antiques are many and great, albeit expensive at times. The candles make great gifts. Hand poured and quality waxes. I recommend a stop here to shop. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!

Nice to browse when you are looking for something to do. But... it is completely and ridiculously overpriced. Could understand that type of pricing for some of the unique, hard to find items...But not for a few simple, metal baskets and picture frames that are pretty ordinary at best. You need one of their rusted out wheelbarrows to carry all your cash in to buy something...cause paying in cash is the only way you have any chance to get a discount there, and even that is laughable to call it a discount. Don't expect much of one. Also, I agree with other review that there is too much stuff outside, unprotected and becoming destroyed by the weather. Such a shame. Very disappointing. Two stars only for decent browsing activity / something to do but no stars for outrageous pricing.

Such a fantastic shop! You could wander around appreciating all the antiques. The owner seemed so helpful and funny. I came for the coffee and it's such a cool little hidden find. The vanilla basil latte was the best latte I've had in a while. The ladies I loved them! So helpful and sweet. Definitely a stop when I'm in town!

The best antique store and coffee on long island. They have the perfect blend of everything you are looking for in an antique store and the new coffee shop inside makes an amazing lavender latte!
