Hours: Community Helping Hands is a thrift store that supports those in need. It is a reasonably priced store with a variety of clothes, knick knacks, and home furnishings. Prices can sometimes be high, especially for brand new items with tags, because donations go through an inspection process for rips and tears. Furniture can also be priced a little high as the quality is rough on some pieces. Overall, it is a good place to hunt for fun little items for a low price, paying half or less than retail stores. They accept donations of gently used furniture, clothing, and household items, offering pick-up for large furniture. The thrift store is open Wednesday through Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, which are also the donation hours along with Mondays. It is a favorite spot for some, with volunteers noting that a plus of volunteering is receiving store vouchers.
