We had a great stay here. The location is within walking distance of The National Comedy Center and The Lucy Desi Museum. The restaurant staff was attentive and incredibly polite. The concierge, Amber, was incredibly helpful and kind. She gets bonus points for how professionally she handled a difficult guest who had issues with check in policies that required a phone number. Overall a great place to stay for our weekend excursion. Will consider staying here again.

Here’s the short version of a long life experience.Bed bugs in the crib they provided my baby, who was bit. Desk manager tried to downplay it and said they couldn’t work with Expedia to refund stay. Then backtracked when we didn’t take her gaslighting and indignant attitude. Desk manager also admitted that this hotel had problems with bugs in the past, which of course raises more red flags. They finally refunded our stay as we demanded and gave us a token amount of hotel points. We were told hotel management would contact us soon after we left, which they didn’t. We were told they would send us a report from exterminator for room 601 with bed bugs. They haven’t. Hilton corporate email support offered no help and sent us back to the hotel General Manger. General manager of hotel hasn’t answered our emails. Now we’re out multiple hundreds of dollars in thrown away luggages, kids bed, shoes, etc. and had to take extensive measures to hopefully not bring bed bugs home to our kids. New Year’s plans ruined and wife is angry. Pesticides spread in my home. Hotel doesn’t seem to really care.If that sounds like the kind of hotel experience you would like, then the Doubletree by Hilton in Jamestown, NY is the place for you!

We had a great experience staying a week at this Double Tree. The staff was phenomenal, rooms comfortable and clean and several great food options in walking distance. FYI the Cherry Lounge across the street has phenomenal chicken wings!!! Breakfast at the hotel is really not that great but everything else was wonderful.

This hotel falls in line with the rest of the reviews. Very clean hotel with comfy big beds. I always say yes to the cookie and the gym is spacious enough to enjoy your workout. I stay at over 100 hotels a year and would recommend that you stay here at this doubletree .

Hotel is in pretty good shape and typically pretty clean too. Location is convenient to downtown but loud vehicles abound. Breakfast was "made to order" this time instead of the typical buffet but still fine.Food & drinks: Breakfast is pretty good and worth the extra $10/night. Lounge downstairs has decent food with a wide variety of draft beers.

I hate to write this because it’s great that Jamestown has this establishment downtown. However, I had some real issues with the cleanliness of this hotel. As soon as I arrived, I asked to change rooms because there was hair all over the shower. I know hair is difficult to deal with, but it was everywhere. The front desk was extremely accommodating and friendly about it. Unfortunately, my new room had nail clippings all over the floor near the bed, hair all over the shower, and someone’s used fork against the wall. At this point, I didn’t want to change rooms again and I’m not comfortable with staff accessing my room while I’m gone (which was from early morning to evening) so I just dealt with it.The bar is nice. Though I didn’t eat, only had a couple drinks, the staff was friendly and the prices were fair. The location of the hotel is great. Parking was ample.

Location was perfect for downtown. The service was excellent. The front desk and restaurant team we encountered were lovely and accommodating, in particular, Amber. We had a new housekeeper that I believe needed some more training in how to interact with guests. She knocked on our door a couple times well before check out time insisting she needed to clean the room. There were some language problems but big picture here is she didn't know the checkout time and how to respect guest privacy. No huge deal, minor issue that the front desk resolved.Overall, an excellent value, conveniently located plus doubltree cookies? What's not to love?Rooms: Some room noise.Good size, fairly good bed.Walkability: Excellent. Convenient to the museums and eateries.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It’s been recently updated and it shows. The room itself felt larger than a normal hotel room. I am unsure if it actually is larger than a standard hotel room or it’s an optical illusion based on placement of furnishings. Either way, it felt huge for me. The bathroom fixtures felt expensive, in contained one of those long cabinets that held everything underneath towels hairdryer. It made the bathroom look very neat and tidy. This hotel has gone with that minimalistic look which I love so much. The bed extremely is comfortable I could’ve stayed rolled up in those blankets all day. The hotel itself is not in the nicest area which made me very much appreciate the security protocol. There are only two doors that anyone can walk into without a key card. He gave me a feeling of security. Being a rewards member I got my free cookie and coffee in the morning. The staff was ever so friendly. Unfortunately, I only spent 1 day there, I wish I had more time to stay in the hotel and enjoy its amenities.Walkability: Right downtown so everything is within walking distance.

Great location! The rooms are clean and the maid service was excellent. The covered bridge going from the hotel to the parking lot needs some repair. The breakfast buffet was not worth $15. Lots of choices on the buffet, but the food itself, especially the warm food was disgusting.

This was a great hotel for the price! The restaurant was great and my server was all awesome. Only drawback was that the shower curtain was dirty (stains from hard water as well as dirty handprints) and the tub's drain was clogged. Even so, I'd still stay here again!
