Look I work at walmart in electronics.. I know good customer support and how to identify someone who is lost in the store and not sure what there getting. This customer service was awful. I asked someone by picture where to find a certain light bulb. he told me aisle and wherebouts it was. he did not ask if I wanTed help finding what I needed. Just sent me on my way. I also was not once greeted or asked if I needed help by anyone in the store. The only person that told me something was at self checkout to press pay now when I stood there thinking it would take my payment with cars inserted. Awful representation of what Home Depot could and should be.

I got a estimate for the replacement of two windows. The cost of the windows was not more than eight hundred dollars(my searching elsewhere) but they wanted over a thousand dollars to place them. Home Depot does not share with you the cost of the windows. One is so easy that my neighbor lady said she could do it. Home Depot is greedy and I would suggest you take your business elsewhere. I complained about their greed and neither Michael or Scott responded. I think they know their costs are not reasonable and just go on to the next customer thinking that customer will blindly accept their quote.

Terrible customer service ordered a pergola over a week ago. They charged my credit card and I just received a call today stating they don’t have the product in stock? Really? I think that should of been looked into before placing the order!! I do not recommend this store to anyone. Lost my business and I’ll make sure other people are aware as well.

Sold us a fridge and said if it didnt work out then call to return within 48 hours. Called and worker said to just bring it back to the store so when we did just that, they refused to accept it saying its store policy not to and to call the number on the receipt to pick it up. Call them and they refuse responsibility saying to take it to the store we were just at. Manager then calls back the next day (after the 48 hours passed of course) saying they wont take it because nothing is damaged. So now stuck with an $1100 fridge that is no longer needed and cant even fit it in the house. Never buy appliances from this store, lesson learned. I hope the tiny commission they got during the pandemic was well worth it.

I have been calling all day because they double charged my card. I can’t get through the phones because they have an automated message saying “due to circumstances beyond our control we can’t accept your call”. I really don’t want to come in with my daughter, but I will if I have to. Someone please contact me.

They are very rude and they are taking advantage of people during this pandemic. Just because they are essential and still getting business doesn’t mean they have the right to treat people like crap. I needed a refrigerator and was going to purchase a stove as well, spending almost 1400.00 and they were out of the refrigerator. I asked about the floor model with a discount because people have been touching it, opening and closing it, and I was told no discount! Oh and although we offer free delivery, you can’t get it for a used item. Are you serious? When I spoke to the manager Price was his name, he said the same thing but was very rude about it.

I don't believe the store manager will read this but maybe someone responsible to the owners or shareholders will. Some time ago, I received a 'Rigid' driver for Christmas. The drill developed a manufacturer's defect in the battery connecting port in the form of a crack causing a loose battery. I took the driver to the store and they turned me away saying I needed to send it to headquarters due to the 90 day store warranty being 3 days expired. I've returned items 3 times at this Home Depot location. Each time I do, I get major attitude at the main counter. This attitude still prevails despite my calm, professional demeanor. I do most of my shopping at Warren and Erie, PA, Lowe's now. SEARS just closed. Is Home Depot the next location? We just ordered items on Amazon that could have been purchased at this store.

If you want to go somewhere and talk to rude employees, then this is the place. Ask for help, you will invariably be told to go to some far off aisle where the product is not. The staff grumbles if they have to do anything. I was just now ready to walk out of the store because of bad attitudes. I have been to this store several times. It is always the same bitchy type staff. Go somewhere else if you can.

So the AC we bought yesterday didn't even touch the heat in our living room....so we went to return it today. My husband asked if he could get a refund on it or switch it out for another, to which the lady at the counter responded yes. He asked if they had bigger ones for our home, and she said yes. Home Depot Super Super thank you. They made a Special delivery to me today. My house is all electric, so I really need an extra heat source. I have been sitting in my house with my hat, coat and gloves just so I can keep from freezing. Scottie had his sweater on also . Bless you Home Depot for going the extra mile.
