We at Touching Hearts at Home enjoy working with all the staff at The Nottingham. We have past and current clients in the independent living building and our care partners feel welcome when visiting their clients. The facility is clean, they have allot of activities and continue to partner with TH. Niki Heaton and her staff are wonderful as well as Mary Wassel in the memory care facility. We appreciate everything they do.

Another case of looks are deceiving. You will only be shown the heathy, happy independence residents because of you saw what is truly happening in assisted living or memory care you would report them to the state for neglect and cruelty. They have a beautiful facility and restaurant but does that matter if they leave residents lonely and isolated and out of sight crying and waiting hours for help. They never “have time” to give attention to residents only those who haven’t signed contracts and checks yet. They also play this game where they bring you in under a promotion to independent living and then decide you aren’t “meeting our standards” and demote you to assisted living or memory care even against the opinion of doctors! Why? Costs more! And they save the pretty spaces for the family tours. Marketing teams also are known to play bidding games between families while keeping those in need in limbo for months- but they will tell you it is only a couple weeks to get in. If they find someone who will “make a donation” you will be kicked to the curb for someone else. Corrupt. Heartless. Dishonest place full of neglect and abusive secrets. Don’t fall for the food on display or the pretty campus.

I just started working here an I love it but it breaks my heart when you have seniors up there dying to see their families and loved ones that put them there an leave them

Think twice about putting your loved one here. While the facility is nice, their system for helping residents when they have an emergency is sub-par (and that's putting it nicely). My mother fell and rang their "emergency alert" button and it took 40 minutes for someone to get to her. While staff was very sorry and apologetic, it's just unreal to me that their response system is so terrible.

Where my mother was only a resident of Assisted Living for about 6 months, the quality of the care and staff was truly amazing. I have been to several facilities in the past several years with other family members and other facilities can’t compare to the outstanding level of compassion and communication of the Assisted Living staff of the Nottingham.Holly K.

I called for some information today and was greeted on the phone by Sherry. I have to say, if she is any indication of the demeanor of the staff here, I would not recommend them at all. She was incredibly rude and hostile and acted like I was inconveniencing her. So, I will be looking elsewhere.
