It took me years to finally decide to go forward with a transplant. Fortunately, deciding where to go was far easier. As a medical specialist, I know that experience and training are paramount. Robotic Hair Restoration fit all my requirements. Conveniently located in the middle of Long Island, it has excellent reviews, and features the Artas robotic system. Dr. Gohil brought the groundbreaking system to the area and teaches others on its use. The consultation was informative, relaxed, and addressed all my concerns. The day of the procedure was a mixture of excitement and anxiety. I have to say, Dr. Gohil and his team were exceptional. Every step of the procedure was laid out, and it was clear that throughout the entire day, I was the only priority. Many times throughout the day, Dr. Gohil and his team would provide refreshments, a snack, and breaks. He is warm, congenial and compassionate. I'm very happy to have chosen RHR of Long Island and have to say, the level of service was amazing. If you want a highly personalized procedure using cutting edge technology backed by a surgeon with over a decade of experience with it, the choice is clear. I can't recommend RHR of LI and Dr. Gohil enough.

Very good experience. Use of the Robotic was very efficient and not painful. Drove myself home with 2200 implants. I'm 73, drove home and did not need any pain medication. Staff works very efficient with the machine which brings down cost substantially compared to others. Will go back again to fill in the crown within a year. I been investigating for years and finally found someone near and reasonable priced. Very happy the way they filled in my front. Not painful at all, I actually dozed off during the process. Oh, The lunch they served was excellent.

I had my Hair Restoration procedure done at Robotic Hair Restoration of Long Island about 4 weeks ago, and my experience was First Class. The waiting area and the surgical suite were clean, neat and comfortable.Dr. Gohil, the Board Certified Surgeon who was doing my procedure, contacted me prior to my procedure, making sure that he completely understood the medical history that I provided. Just speakingwith him, and his calming voice, made me feel confident that I was making the correct choice in using RHRLI.Michael Petroglia, Dr. Gohil’s Director of Patient Education, was there for me the entire time, answering all of my questions, and following up with me to see how I was feeling the day following my FUT procedure. His staff, from his receptionist, Andrea, to Debbie, Oscar, Kenny, andTeddy, his technicians, were extremely attentive to my every need, making sure that I was always comfortable, considering that the procedure lasted the entire day. I was grateful that they were in my corner. All in all, I am thrilled with the professionalism of his entire staff, and wouldn’t hesitate to refer anyone to RHRLI who is interested in having this procedure done.

Hands-down, the most amazing experience I have ever had after doing two procedures many years ago, I was hesitant to do another one. I am pleased that I came to the decision to do it again if you are looking to do any type of hair restoration, you must visit this doctor.

I’ve had 2 FUE procedures with Robotic Hair Restoration of Long Island (RHRLI). Here’s what they don’t tell you and what I had to learn on my own: (1) You can’t get tape-ups, fades or have short lower hair because they over-harvest donor hair on the back of the head. The “robot” (which I use that term loosely) only takes donor hair from the back of the head in a small square harvest template, so you will see scalp in the shape of a square with shorter hair cuts on the back of your head. (2) You will have to have many procedures for pre-balding hair density. I had 2 FUE’s with them, each one waiting a year to properly see results. After I realized the density wasn’t there and I now must keep longer hair to cover up the over-harvested FUE donor site, I had 3 FUT procedures with Bosley. The scar is higher up, so it wouldn’t have affected a tape-up haircut anyway. (3) Michael draws your new hairline too high to reduce the graft area they must implant, this helps lessen their working area. (4) On my 2nd procedure (and last with RHRLI) I opted to increase the grafts we were doing during the graft harvest phase with Dr. Gohil. He told me the additional cost and I agreed. What really bothered me was that during the implant stage I was being asked for my credit card by Dr. Gohil, as if I’m going to get up and walk out. Where was I going? I literally had a technician implanting hairs into my head and you’re asking me for my credit card? I wanted to throw my wallet on the floor and let him pull it out (to this day I regret not doing that). (5) That same day only 1 technician showed up and the implant stage took HOURS longer than it was supposed to. I’m certain grafts died from the increased time it took to be implanted and have blood supply. Dr. Gohil and Michael (salesman/ part-owner) were actually getting cranky and wanted to go home! Not my fault only one technician was working, perhaps you should have helped your 1 technician that day Dr. Gohil (I use that word doctor loosely too). CONCLUSION: This has been a 5 year process! Go to Bosley, Maxim or Turkey (make a vacation out of it); anywhere but here. No matter where you go, they all don’t tell you it takes 4-5 procedures for it to look full. I’ve spent over $50,000 on this in total.

They made the process so easy and Dr. Gohil checked in on me several times in the past few weeks. I would 100% recommend them to friends & family.

If you are unsure about whether or not you want to do this, definitely get a consult at RHRLI. They are consummate professionals; very kind and caring through the whole process. I don't think you'll find a better place to get a transplant on Long Island. Dr. Gohil and all the nurses make you feel very safe and taken care of throughout the surgery and they are very transparent about how the whole process works. Dr. Gohil calls you both before and after the surgery to talk to (and reassure) you through the pre-op and post-op process. Special shout out to Mike, the patient advisor, who was very responsive and reassuring through the entire post-op process. All-in-all, five stars; I'm almost seven months out and loving the results so far. My only regret is not finding them sooner when I was looking into the process!

Dr. Gohil, Michael and the staff were excellent. They explained the process thoroughly and when I had the procedure about 5 weeks ago was very impressed with the comfort and care provided. I had done my research and am very happy I choose robotic hair restoration of Long island. When you finally make the decision to go forward you want the best experience and Dr. Gohil and his team delivered.

Those suffering from hair loss/recession/thinning, etc. are more than aware that the topic can be delicate and extremely personal. As someone who struggled with insecurities over hair for far too long, Dr. Gohil, Michael P. and the rest of the team reinstated hope in me by delivering a seamless hair restoration experience at RHRLI. Right from my complimentary consultation to my last appointment, Dr. Gohil, Michael and staff made me feel comfortable, understood/heard, well-informed on what to expect every step of the way. The team dedicates a whole day exclusively to your personalized procedure - They work hard to ensure you are relaxed and don't feel a thing. For me, I experienced no pain during the procedure and I joked with the team that it felt like a spa day! I'm incredibly happy with my results so far - I wish I could go back in time to schedule my appointment with Dr. Gohil & Co. earlier!P.S. I rarely leave businesses reviews (generally speaking) but I HAD to share my positive experience at RHRLI to the world. If my review can encourage anyone who may be hesitant about the hair restoration process as I initially was: DO IT. And look no further - Robotic Hair Restoration of Long Island is the place to go for a phenomenal, life-changing experience.
