From entire lighting sections being mislabeled to items showing 20+ in stock but there's actually none... It's your typical Home Depot. I shop here often. Gotta know what's good and not good to get at the depot

You can walk up and down every single isle and not one employee will ask you if you need help, it's a good thing their website will tell you where to find the stuff you need....or Amazon if you want to save a few bucks.

I special ordered kitchen cabinets and was told 4 - 6 weeks delivery. Eight weeks in, I was told, June 14, cabinets will be delivered. Went there on June 14 with my carpenter, no cabinets. Ended up going to Syaracuse to pick up cabinets. Management at Home Depot didn't give a crap. Terrible customer service. Manager stood there looking at me like no big deal, no emotion. If I didn't go get my cabinets, my carpenter would have rescheduled for August....I will never work with HD again.

Because a person on register 2 couldn't find a 51/4 by 16 foot piece of lumber in the system, even after calling in help, I waited in line for 25 minutes. The line extended halfway through aisle 19. What happened to competence?

Do not go to this Home Depot if you need help. I do not write reviews a lot, but I had to for this store in Johnson City. The sales people were not very knowledgeable or helpful. I went in there for a new water heater. First, it took forever to find someone, and when I found someone, they didn't know their product. And I'm talking simple questions. I said, "I need a 40 gallon natural gas water heater. What do you have?" The salesman replied, "I don't know. Did you look?" Second, they did not know if they could pick up my old water heater or not. The sales people weren't even sure of a simple yes or no question. They kept referring me to the front desk. I went to the front desk and they did not know the answer and referred me to sales people. I returned to them. No luck. The sales people also told me they don't install anything, but I saw on the water heaters a label that read "Installation available." At this point, I was confused and frustrated. I gave up. Thirdly, I went to Lowe's, and the sales people were very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought a new water heater and they do offer to pick up the old one. Luckily, I have someone that can install it. If you are a contractor and have a truck, then maybe this Home depot is for you if you know how to install things, etc., but if you are not a contractor, don't go here at all. The fault of this home depot is not the staff. It's management for not training their staff. Lastly, most of the workers at this Home Depot were talking and laughing and seemed to keep passing the buck to other people. And what makes me laugh is that I was a paying a customer looking to buy something, and I was treated like I was bothering them. Never again.

Everyone that works there is very helpful, and when you find them...usually busy answering customers questions! Love the front and screen door I bought there. Lovely! The Home Depot construction contractor from PA did a superlative job putting both doors in for me. Very skilled/quality conscious man in his work.
