I was crashing out hard today needing a new debit card. I was in and out with a new card in five minutes, and I'm kicking myself for not asking or remembering the man's name at the desk at the Guilderland branch on New Karner who helped me, he appeared to be Asian. He was awesome and made my day just by doing his job! He was polite, professional, and understanding as can be. Thank you sir if you see this, I was there today 9-2 with a brownish Hawaiian shirt and you turned my whole day around, THANK YOU NBT for having this service, all banks should have this! I will always stick with this bank just for that alone!

The employees at NBT in Johnstown NY are pleasant to do business with. If there's not to many customers needing assistance most if not all will engage in conversation with you.The bank is always neat and tidy.I'm my opinion, Johnstown NBT and there employees are much more helpful then Gloversville NBT.I have been banking with NBT since there inception and have never had any problems with any business I've done with them.Added bonus, while basically all the banks in the area have changed hands and or names, NBT has remained a constant for many many years.Before they became NBT they were Central National and the transition was seamless.

The manager was very rude..was returning money orders..they deposited money in my acct and took it out the next day..the girl who waited on me was nice..very hard to see her be spoken down to from mansger and colleague..i told one of them not to get excited and i didnt like her tone...very ..very bad customer service.

They are the rudest women in this branch! The manager with the dark black hair is a rude unprofessional you know what!!!! Seems like everytime I come they have a attitude! If I didn’t work right at the Johnstown price chopper I wouldn’t come to this branch! Actually the Gloversville branch is no better! I need to change banks asap!

I go there many times a week and very rarely have that problem. Besides there is another one inside. The staff is very helpful and the lines are never long.

Every single time my husband or I try to use their ATM, it doesn't work! It's absolutely ridiculous. I'm calling on Monday to have fees refunded since it's an ongoing issue and we always have to use an alternate ATM!
