Absolutely love this pizza place! I come from NYC and still consider this pizza place, in a rural town 90 miles away from Manhattan, to serve some of the best NY style pizza ever. The owner got quite mad at me once for using the bathroom without having ordered anything, but that's to be expected from a restaurant

Stopped in on a Saturday night at 7:45. They turned us away because the kitchen closes at 8:00pm. We said the hours say 9:00 am. Oh we go home at 9:00pm,This is the second time this has happened to members in our party.

Good delicious pizza love the atmosphere so 50s . Nice clean restaurant and friendly staff and most of all pizza is so delicious the sauce yummy . Keep up the good work !

The food is delicious. Italian, lots of red sauce. Great casual, yummy meal. I'd recommend it for a good hearty lunch or a weekday dinner out.Vegetarian options: The eggplant rollatini is flawless.

We stumbled upon this gem while out on a road trip in the Bethel / Woodstock area across from Kauneonga Lake. Sorella Restaurant is owned & operated by wife & husband team, Crissy & Gerry. There is a pizzeria, as well as, a formal dining room with linen table cloths & napkins which has a retro vibe & is also seasonally decorated for Halloween. A beautiful party room is available with a dance floor for your special events. When we were seated, we requested music by Frank Sinatra & were happily accommodated.The red sauce is made from scratch. The eggplant parmigiana is made to order & was so flavorful & delicious; no breadcrumbs. The entrees are served with a super fresh side salad & a choice of pasta.There is an extensive wine list & for those who may prefer their red wine chilled, red & white wines were available chilled or room temperature.The desserts were very fresh & the cannoli shell was crispy & filled to order.The only thing missing was the people. We were the only table in the dining room on a dreary Saturday afternoon. It's a great time of year to get out & enjoy the beautiful foliage, so make Sorella Restaurant part of your road trip!P.S. We ordered the freshly made lasagna to go & heated it for dinner upon our return to Jersey. It was fabulous! Very lite filled with the perfect balance of ricotta, ground beef & sausage just like my mother-in-law used to make. If you are in the area, order it for Thanksgiving & save yourself the time &:effort. You will not be disappointed. I wish we lived closer ...

I recently dined at Sorella in Kauneonga Lake and I have mixed feelings about my experience.The ambiance at Sorella is quite charming. The restaurant has a lovely lakeside setting, which makes for a picturesque backdrop while enjoying your meal. The outdoor seating area is especially pleasant on a nice day. However, the indoor dining area felt a bit cramped and could use some updating.The menu at Sorella offers a variety of Italian dishes, and I appreciate the effort to provide diverse options. I tried the pasta with marinara sauce, and it was flavorful, but not exceptional. The portion size was decent, but the prices seemed a bit on the higher side for the quality of food.The service was friendly and attentive. The staff seemed genuinely interested in ensuring a pleasant dining experience, which is always a plus.Overall, Sorella is a decent place to dine if you're looking for a picturesque setting and friendly service. However, I can't help but feel that the food doesn't quite match up to the prices, and the indoor dining area could use some improvement. It's worth a visit for the ambiance, but don't expect a culinary masterpiece.

Went in on Saturday @ 5:30 with a buddy of mine and sat down and no service We then approached a waitress and was told no service because they hadn't any staff and said to me " can't you read" I generally don't write neg reviews but the owner needs to talk to staff that they shouldn't ever talk to anyone like that. And by the way, I can read and well educated.

I’m from Long Island and I was in the area and in the mood for some pizza so I decided to stop by to pick up a couple of pies for some friends and they all enjoyed it great mushroom pizza definitely recommend this place :)
