My husband and I are always looking to support local establishments bc we love to eat well and laugh often. This place was just the right spot on a very gloomy Saturday evening. We were a little disappointed a few weeks ago when they were closed and left a note on the door saying they were closed for a few days. They have to make sure next time they update the website bc it was unfortunate we were hungry and couldn’t order anything. BUT MOVING ON!!!The Beet Salad with Bibb Lettuce is a salad you have to eat with the addition of a fork. I would’ve liked the lettuce to have been cut in smaller ribbons potentially. It was a little difficult to include a piece of everything without the assistance of a knife. It was extremely flavorful with the goat cheese and balsamic complementing the golden beets well. I enjoyed it.The ShoeString fries with Parm Truffle Oil were spot on. I ask for their bbq sauce that reminds me of a more tangy sweet n sour sauce. I’m sure the togarashi option would also be a hit. I keep that seasoning in my cabinet. The Brussel sprouts are good. The Mac n Cheese is nothing special. I feel they could’ve seasoned the mornay sauce a little bit more.I am a hard cider aficionado and the cider I tried was DELICIOUS. It was spiced I believe and not to sweet but light crisp and subtle. I had one on my own and then my husband and I split one. He also had a 1911 hard cider that didn’t do anything for me.The Dirty Truth pizza was very good. I think it could do without the arugula on top. The Aged White Cheddar and Roasted Garlic are the clear winners here.Try this place for some nice local fare and flare. This restaurant will be added to my rotation of small delightful local favorites.Eat and drink here if you get a chance! Highly recommended!!

Best casual restaurant in the area. Solid food menu . Only reason for not 5 stars is that prices a a bit high for the menu and area. Otherwise a can't miss choice for a good meal.

We stopped by over a February boys getaway and all had a great time, mostly thanks to the very lovely and bubbly bartender- didn’t catch her name but we hope you won all your Super Bowl bets!

Last week the dining experience was amazing. Good service, great fried chicken, tangy coleslaw and incredible Caesar Salad. This week same meal was a disappointment. The Caesar Salad was way smaller. The excuse was that the romaine lettuce leaves were smaller. Well, then add more! The $46.00 Rib Eye was chewy. For $49.00 could have had a Filet Mignon at Ciao Belle or Solaia in Monticello.

Besides the staff always friendly. The view on the lake is beautiful. I absolutely love the seafood arrabiata and goat cheese and beet salad. The seafood dish is organic pasta, spicy San marzano tomatoes, calamari, scallops and shrimp. The salad is fresh beets, goat cheese, bib lettuce and a vinaigrette dressing. Who would have guessed a pub on a lake in the Catskills would have a seafood pasta dish that could rival any top notch Italian restaurant anywhere in the world.

Bartender was nice and I had a good beer. But the food is just not really very good. It’s just not. It’s not terrible..just not very good.

I was honestly not even expecting this to be so nice! We just went in to get a local beer. The bartender was so friendly. She gave us samples of several kinds and gave great recommendations. We ordered the hummus to share just to nosh on, and it was so tasty and plated really nicely, too. There were several vegetarian options. Can't wait to go back and try more.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians can find things on the menu to eat.

DO NOT GO / While The Local Table and Tap offered a pleasant ambiance, our dining experience was ruined by some unfortunate incidents. Unfortunately, we found fried human hairs in the chicken, and the synchronization of our orders was off. Despite our group addressing a delay and attempting to cancel a tardy item, it led to unnecessary blame shifting. It's essential for the establishment to refine its service coordination and ensure food quality. Mistake can happen but at least don’t blame customers and don’t charge a hairy fried chicken. Unacceptable.

The atmosphere and service was good. The food was okay but pricey. I got the beef bowl $26, my husband got fish and chips $23. A small bowl of French onion soup was $10. Prices were on the high side for what we got. The craft beers we ordered were reasonably priced.
