The staff was friendly and helpful while we were at the store. More importantly, they helped when I discovered that I'd dropped my credit card at the store, mailing it to my home since we wouldn't be back there again. It's always nice to meet honest people.

My wife and I were in the Keene,NY are for the weekend to enjoy hiking in the area. Our beautiful morning drive was interrupted by a deer that tried to leap over our car, blowing out our side window with her legs and somersaulting over our roof! The window exploded into the car and there was glass EVERYWHERE - in our luggage, cup holders, in our shoes, in our hair..It was spread over the interior of the car from front to back. McDonough's is an valuable resource to the community. With rare exception this wonderful store and its fabulous staff have everything I need for small jobs on my property. If I need contracting items in bulk I'll go elsewhere, but I what a place to have to run to when you need something - from gifts to picnic paraphernalia to quick fixes for your house! We can't say enough about this legendary store.
