The food has consistently been amazing. The woman there greets us happily. She even throws in rice pudding.

Horrendous experience. Lady at the front has an attitude problem. Fish Pakoras were absolutely trash as you can see in picture. Portions were very small. They tend to not like Desi people and make it obvious by putting labels on customers.

I don't think there's a bad meal served here. I've slowly been trying the entire menu, everything I've tried has so much flavor and portion sizes have been good. If you've been on the fence about trying this place, just do it, you won't regret it!

I live only two blocks from this spot but never paid it much mind. It just seemed like one of the thousands of Indian restaurants that time had passed by and when I did go in, was met by a shabby buffet table out of business and heavy, almost gothic colors. This felt like one of those places Gordon Ramsay should save ... Till I had the food. I was wrong! Happily wrong. The food here is good and the portions are huge and affordable. I had a chicken tikka dinner platter for only $16 that could have easily fed two. Huge chucks of meat, perfectly spiced, over a bed of onions and peppers. Rounded out with a samosa appetizer and I was set.

This restaurant has very good Indian food. The flavor of the food is great and they are quick when you need to order take out! The place feels really welcoming and friendly as well! I highly recommend the chicken tikka masala. I’ll definitely be a regular now that I’ve moved to the Buffalo area!

Worst ever restaurant and the very bad service by old lady. Seems like the old lady is very frustrated with work.

Absolutely delicious food, worth the price for the flavors! It's difficult not to eat it all in one sitting, yet we're able to make one order last for two meals. Only thing I could recommend is get the light repaired on their sign in the building (if there is one); losing that advertising at night I think would be hard.Vegetarian options: My gf is vegan and allergic to dairy and eggs, and hasn't had an issue thus far with their dishes. They're quite conscious of dietary restrictions.

If you didn't know it was there, you'd probably drive right by. It's not lit up and heavy curtains over the windows make it dark in a small strip plaza style area. But, she's been there for decades so assume many locals know it. The indoor decor looks like the original style from maybe the 80s? We were the only eat in diners. They average 150 take out orders a day, but only 3 or 4 tables eat in. Ever since covid, they stopped their buffet due to the takeout preference. We ordered: Paneer Pakora (fried cheese) and Aloo Tiki (friend mashed potatoes) for apps. The India Star special is a nice sampler sizzler. We got chicken vindaloo, saag paneer, and butter chicken with garlic naan. The butter chicken was the favorite dish....despite my youngest being initially deterred by the bright blood red sauce. For dessert we ordered both items from the menu....a rice pudding and fried balls in a sugary syrup. The hostess/waitress/owner was friendly and we enjoyed the Indian music playing.

The food quantity is laughable, the food is extremely mediocre, they NEVER follow any spice or extra comments. I received One single puri with a $15 chana puri and when i called to see if it was a mistake i got the rudest and most sarcastic reply of thats what their serving sizes look like. Lamb biryani was flavourless aswell. They’re scamming their customers at this point. 0/100 never eating here! SAVE YOUR MONEY and eat elsewhere!

Delicious home-cooking Indian food. One of my favorite Indian restaurants in Buffalo. Kulvinder is always a gem and attentive. Only wish there was music playing while we were eating.
