The energy , the character , the professionalism & the way they treat the children is amazing . I wouldn’t want my kid anywhere else nomatter how far I move . They are wholesome & very attentive to all kids , it’s not just their job . They feel like family . They include parents in alot . They care about how we feel , they actually do fun things with the kids it’s not just a “ monitor “ type of daycare .They care a lot about the teachers & the hard work they do . “We absolutely love it here! We switched our daughter here after a bad experience somewhere else and it has been great. Having access to cameras to be able to see her throughout the day really takes a huge weight off our shoulders. They keep the kids busy and engaged with activities, sensory play and my daughter loves the buggy rides they take the infants for walks in. The whole staff is super friendly, we felt welcome from the minute we walked in for our tour. Stephanie is great! She answered every question we had, made us feel really comfortable and even now if I have a question she emails back in a timely manner. The location is clean, bright and cheerful! The building is secure with a personal passcode to access the building and a button has to be pushed to open the door from the inside so there is no chance a child will get out. I love that they send pictures throughout the day and a summary of your child’s day as soon as you check your child out. All in all we are very happy here and couldn’t imagine taking our daughter to any other daycare since we found Doodlebugs!”

Fortunately, that’s not the case at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo, which has one of the best gyms in Western New York. By “best,” I mean well-equipped, clean and well-organized, and reassuringly down-to-earth. Established in 1948, the JCC has two locations: the Benderson Family Building, about a 20- minute drive from Buffalo, and the Holland Family Building, a 5-minute drive to downtown.The Holland gym has a combination of cardio machines, including ellipticals, stationary bikes, treadmills, and rowing machines, as well as weight machines and free weights. There are also plenty of classes, though I haven’t taken advantage of one yet.The fitness staff are friendly and there to help and encourage you, not browbeat you. You might also experience a laidback camaraderie with your fellow exercisers—people of various ages and walks of life, sweating side-by-side in unspoken solidarity. Most of us aren’t training for the Olympics—we simply want to reclaim muscle tone, maintain a healthy weight, release stress, and maybe add a few years to our lives.If you want to take care of yourself, I encourage you to try the JCC. And if you’re a parent with young kids, check out the preschool. My daughter went through the preK program, and she thrived. She even learned how to swim in the JCC pool as a toddler.”

O! How the walls, clad in peeling paint, doth speak of a grandeur long faded into obscurity! The halls, once teeming with youthful vigor, now echo with a somber silence, broken only by the creaking of old floorboards and the distant wails of students lost in the labyrinth of indifferent bureaucracy.

The pedagogues, whom one would hope to find as beacons of enlightenment, doth instead lumber about in disinterest, their lectures as dry as the parchments upon which they scrawl their arcane hieroglyphs. The library, once a sanctum of knowledge, now a repository of antiquated tomes and forgotten volumes, where the musty scent of neglect hangs heavy in the air.

The food, alas! Nay, let us not speak of the culinary offerings that grace the tables of this establishment, for even the most famished beggar would turn their nose at such fare.

In conclusion, to attend this institution is to embark upon a journey fraught with disillusionment and despair. Verily, it is a place where dreams come to wither and aspirations are crushed beneath the weight of mediocrity.

“To my knowledge from talking to others with children. With children. This is one of the better child development centers or i.e. Day care in the area near here. I hear the facility that is extremely clean they take great care of the children and their care as well as tied a stimulate them mentally and educationally.”
