Exceeded our expectations: setting (wildflower hike, fire pit by the lake, etc.), room (had a sitting area, a private deck and a soaking tub), staff (special thanks to Juan for his guidance while I was making the reservation and his support during my stay), restaurant (thank you Executive Chef Clark for what you and your team do and for taking the time to chat with me), and the spa (Stephanie what a great massage).”

“What an amazing gem of a hotel. The grounds truly look magical, and each room has been designed thoughtfully. The restaurant is absolutely incredible, hands down one of the best meals I've had recently, great, attentive service, really good cocktails, and an amazing attention to detail in each dish. Pavlova was to die for.

Visited not knowing much about the place on my way to visiting day at camp. I was solo for one night and honestly, it was a stay I didn't even know I needed. Having an amazing dinner without it feeling weird being by myself, a freaking huge bed to watch Netflix murder mysteries until 2am, and an incredible breakfast before picking up my kid. Would love to come back with company but honestly, this was pretty awesome and will have a special place in my memory as a really beautiful solo evening this summer.

“Found this hidden gem while scrolling on TikTok and I’m so glad that I did. Brought my fiancé and our 2 fur babies here to celebrate their birthdays. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Water pressure was great and hot. Loved the heated pool and sauna!!! Bartender was a sweet heart and made delicious drinks. Dinner was delicious!!! Fur babies loved being able to run around. Place was very quiet and private. Will 100% be back.”

“I was intrigued to tour the property as a potential future getaway for friends and family, or perhaps even a corporate retreat. But coming from a real estate development background, what really captured my attention was seeing how a nearly 100-year-old property has been thoughtfully repurposed and reimagined for modern hospitality.

The landscape architecture and use of the property are impressive. It spans both sides of the road and offers a wonderful mix of experiences—from trails and A-frame accommodations with a camping feel to traditional rooms and cottages, fine dining, a large pool, and spaces designed for gatherings and events. The beautifully restored barn overlooking the pond is particularly impressive, and discovering the small walking path down to the creek was an unexpected and delightful touch.

But the highlight of my visit was meeting Tracy Lynn. She was genuinely kind, welcoming, and accommodating, and simply encouraged me to explore the property and experience it for myself.

That’s all it took. I was sold.

There’s something special about seeing an old Catskills property given new life while still respecting its history and natural surroundings. I look forward to returning—not just to visit, but to experience it as a guest.”
