I had Melissa come out to my house and have a $800 deposit for windows to be installed in June. Next, a gentleman came to measure the windows so that they could be fabricated to the specific dimensions. Finally, I received a phone call, a text message and an email with the date and time the windows and the installers would be coming- June 3rd. My partner and I took off of work for the installation. In May, I received a message that the date was changed. After talking to Steve and letting him know how difficult it is to get time off especially in June the date was returned to June 3rd at a later time. After, The day of we spent the morning moving all the furniture, rolling up the rugs and taking down all the blinds, curtains, and associated hardware in preparation. We were getting nervous and called after the installers missed the scheduled time for installation but only got a voicemail box at Home Depot. Another hour another call, then another. Finally, Steve called back to say he had no idea what happened and if they didn’t get there by 3pm they weren’t coming. He offered no contact for the installers and no hope of them meeting their obligation. After that I requested a refund and will let you know how that goes. I intend to take my business to Anderson- they did my neighbors windows and storm door and he was extremely happy- they came when expected and did what was expected- with a quality product. It’s sad when you cannot count on a big name business to follow through on their commitments and they waste your time and leave you disappointed with no windows!

Isn't the whole idea of curbside pick up to avoid going into the store? Well after 4 to 5 texts including my contact info and a 30 minute wait for my confirmed curbside pick up I had to go into the store when I asked why no response to my curbside text the young man responded I'm too busy the other girl is out to lunch and I'm answering phones. So I guess it's ok to ignore curbside pick up? he then gets my large cart I was hoping to get help with and leaves. if you cant support curbside then dont offer it. I have avoided Home Depot as much as possible since the same store messed up my patio set and charged me 3 different time for the same set over a 5 week period. I'm done with the Depot!

This store refused to take back a poorly designed defective washer within a week. They have since lost my business (new bathroom, new kitchen).

They need to replace a certain manager that has poor customer service skills. Was told by home depot online I could return unused flooring to the store in which only the manager could approve and he would not. lost my business!!

Every real man’s favorite place to go when you have a project to do. I highly recommend asking their knowledgeable staff if you uncertain about things. You can also look at their useful app to find out a lot about sales and special promos. This store is also easy to find things while using the app because it tells you where things are!

My sister and I went to pick up paint ,against my better judgement (had a bad experience last time). They had 1 person doing the paint and 5 people ahead of us. Half hour passed by the time he got to the 3 person so we left empty handed again. I said let’s go to Lowe’s and we got everything in less time.

I love this store. I'm always greeted when I enter, I always find people around if I need help, that actually don't seem put out when I do ask and are always able to just talk & are real friendly. Even checking out is great! just saying~

This Home Depot is absolutely the worst in customer service. Their kitchen designers were inept and the customer service reps could not solve the problems on a timely basis. Such a complete disappointment. I will go out of my way and pay more to support local service providers who appreciate one's business and can complete a job effectively. I spent a substantial sum of money during a renovation and regret every dime spent at this store. I am boycotting Home Depot from now on and telling my friends to do so as well. They've lost my current and future business!

Ladies, if you need cabinets be sure and avoid Mike who works in the kitchen cabinets department! He has a condescending attitude towards women! He needs an attitude adjustment!!!!

I was made to feel like less than human by the associate who was running the saw. For some reason the Home Depot in Poughkeepsie had no problems cutting my board the way I wanted it into 16 inch pieces and then 4 8 inch pieces. However this guy, running the saw in Kingston, told me that he can't cut anything lower than 12 in, and he didn't care what they did in Poughkeepsie, he's not doing it for me. I tried to explain to him that I have the tools at home, but I am disabled, but he didn't want to hear it. He just said no. I almost walked out. I went to the service desk and ask to speak to a store manager, after almost a half an hour standing at the service desk I finally got to talk to an assistant manager. I told him of my situation and not only did he offer to make the cuts for me, he also offered me a chair because I told him I was close to Falling Down. I hate being sick and I hate when it affects my life. But that is neither here nor there. I think I may have to go out of my way from now on when I want to go to Home Depot and go to the Poughkeepsie store only because most of the employees treat you better there, then they do in the Kingston store. It's such a shame because I'm only 20 minutes from the Kingston store and 45 minutes from the Poughkeepsie store. If anybody from Home Depot corporate reads my post, which I doubt they ever will but, the assistant manager's name was Jerame, and he went out of his way to make me happy. However as good of a job as he did, it doesn't make up for the lack of caring and consideration by the associate at the saw. Or the other associate who didn't realize I was leaning against my cart, and pushed it out of her way, and I almost fell on my a***
