Tyrannical owners. They claimed to be BAR members. Committing fraud via "Promissory Notes". Conflict of Interest against "we the people".

July 2023 by Warand T.
I brought a car May 26th 2023. Here it Is July 26th and I still haven't received my registration and the temporary one ran out on July 11th. Been calling the dealership and been getting the run around, no call backs and no updates. So I have a $45k car sitting in my driveway because of no registration. Next step is getting a lawyer. No way it should take this long for a registration and no body reaching back out after a bunch of times of me calling.. I paid $45 for a car I can't drive and had to Uber for a week and now have to get a rental car to take my family south for a family reunion.. this is BAD, SHADY AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

December 2022 by Sandra S.
We purchased our VW GLI in June of 2022. Romeo then took it over. This week, my electronic dashboard went blank. I called for service. I had to give them my cell phone number, pause, pause, did you use another number? I said maybe they had my husband's cell phone number, pause, pause, pause. Not it's your cell phone number but its only on one screen and not the other. I asked Carlos (service rep) - what did that mean? He then raises his voice to me - and he said all I have to do is copy and paste. I said OKAY, I asked him not to raise his voice to me and he replied, "I'm not jerking you around". I was now annoyed - I bought an expensive care in June 2022 - its only December. I asked him who he though he was speaking to - with raising his voice and telling me he was not jerking me around. He said he was going to transfer me to his supervisor. Make the appointment with the supervisor for the following day for the car- end of call. No conversation happened about the previous exchangeThen it turns out my brake lights and my turn signals did not work - so - we have an obvious electronic problem with 2022 Volkswagen that has less then 6000 miles on.I have my husband call the dealership because now we need a tow. Can't drive the car. My husband spoke to Carlos - went through the same routine - cell phone numbers not on file - did you buy the car in Kingston? Husband explains what is wrong with the car - much bigger problem than we thought and I am 45 minutes away with the car in Pleasant Valley. Carlos asks my husband - does the car run? My husband replies yes - then Carlos tells my husband its driveable and does not need to be towed. My husband hangs up. We call Volkswagen in Wappingers Falls - car is towed - module and wiring is replaced - pleasant experience. No cost - all covered by warranty.

We recently purchased a 2020 VW Jetta from this dealership. When we got it home we noticed a strong mildew smell. We brought it to the attention of the dealership. Marquis, the service manager, dismissed our concern stating they did not smell anything. We contacted him a second time. He had one of their technicians drive it home. The technician did acknowledge the odor. They contacted VW and they suggested they degrease the engine and change the filter, thinking that would fix the problem. It didn't. We were told there was only one other vehicle that experienced this problem. VW of America was looking into it. Today, we were notified that VW is not doing anything about it. We are now stuck with a vehicle that we cannot park in our garage because of the mildew smell., and I cannot ride in because of the odor. I would think twice about buying a VW. I would think the service department would advocate on our behalf, after knowing there was a problem with a new vehicle they sold us. It's obvious to me that they only care about their sales and not about the customer. We have purchased several vehicles from this dealership and this will be our last.
