Hudson Valley Mall is a place that used to be lively with many stores and department stores like JCPenney, Macy’s, and Best Buy. Today, it is mostly empty, with only a few stores such as Target and Dick’s Sporting Goods, and a movie theater that is well kept with friendly staff. The mall is a good spot for walking and exercising, especially in bad weather, and it’s a safe place for kids to run around since it’s so empty. However, it feels like a shell of its former self, with many stores gone and the food court no longer there. Some people wish the mall would be redeveloped into a bigger, better place with more stores like an Apple Store, GameStop, and a large food court with places like Cheesecake Factory. Others suggest adding entertainment options such as Bounce pickleball, miniature golf, or a Dave & Busters. Overall, the mall is a quiet, standard shopping center—clean and well-equipped but lacking the vibrant atmosphere it once had. It’s a place that could be great again with more services and stores.
Almost nothing left at this mall. I used to come here from 1999 (Year I was born) to 2007 and it used to be packed. Nowadays, there's hardly anything left in this mall.
