Hudson Valley Mall is a place that used to be lively with many stores and department stores like JCPenney, Macy’s, and Best Buy. Today, it is mostly empty, with only a few stores such as Target and Dick’s Sporting Goods, and a movie theater that is well kept with friendly staff. The mall is a good spot for walking and exercising, especially in bad weather, and it’s a safe place for kids to run around since it’s so empty. However, it feels like a shell of its former self, with many stores gone and the food court no longer there. Some people wish the mall would be redeveloped into a bigger, better place with more stores like an Apple Store, GameStop, and a large food court with places like Cheesecake Factory. Others suggest adding entertainment options such as Bounce pickleball, miniature golf, or a Dave & Busters. Overall, the mall is a quiet, standard shopping center—clean and well-equipped but lacking the vibrant atmosphere it once had. It’s a place that could be great again with more services and stores.
Nothing left to this mall, target and dicks sporting goods is about it, and the movies. Good place to let the kids run cause it’s so empty

I felt like I was in a post-apocalyptic video game walking through here. Only like 4 stores open if it weren't for the movie theater. I think this place would be gone. It was so sad it now. It was a huge success for businesses in the past.
