After 20 years of being a customer, they sent an email saying they had removed our tank! Suburban Propane is disastrous. If I have given them 1 star it is because I couldn't gove them no stars.

I’ve tried dealing with this company for over a year now. Hit my final straw today. Very unprofessional and very rude customer service. They have done nothing but give me and my family a hard time. The last payment I made they over charged and come to find out the woman took my credit card info for her own use. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my enemy

Most of the time (ALL) I do not have anything nice to say about about suburban. BUT Today they sent their best representative . Hats off to Keyshawn , he was a professional, and pleasure to work with. He took to heart and understanding to our problem And also hats off to Taz who got the ball rolling and dealing with our issue . Thank you for replying and being in contact with my wife. Thank you

We got a new stove in May from costco(where installation is included). The guys were not able to install it since suburban didn’t install a shutoff valve for the current stove. So we call them and asked for a service.They scheduled us for June(a month ahead) they said that’s the only time they have and they can do it in the morning. We said okay.When it’s the time of service. No one came. We called. they said we never promised morning installation. We said okay. Rescheduled to July. (Another month away That’s the “only” time they have). We said okay. When it is time for service, they canceled because of emergency. We said okay. they said we will come tomorrow.The next day no one showed up and no one called. At 5pm of that day We got mad and we call again and again and again and just phone bombing them. Until at 11 pm, finally technician came. But with NO VALVE???Friday morning they called and apologized and said they gonna come the next Monday. We said okay. Apology accepted please get this done. We want to same thing as you do.Monday, finally!!! someone showed up, but wasn’t able to get into the house even we gave them the code to the house. They said nope the code didn’t work. We said okay. Can you come tomorrow and try again? They said okay.And NO one showed up!!NO Call no follow up. Nothing!!!!Now it’s August. This stove is still not installed. Just called and yelled at them, then they promised that they gonna come Tomorrow(they initially booked us 10 days away???)We will see. I think this company is even traumatizing for mental health. Just terrible. When you show respect of their schedule and request things nicely they don’t even care about you. We still have a full tank of propane. I will close my account as soon as we finish the tank.Please run away from them.

We’ve needed this company to submit forms to the town of hyde park for over 2 months for a new gas service to obtain a final certificate of occupancy to finally move in. This is a requirement from this town. If they can not fill out these forms in a timely manner then they should not do business in Hyde Park. They continue to drag their feet and not get it done. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Suburban Propane rocks!Set up was painless. Delivery was fast. The Grand Gorge office staff was friendly and accommodating.

Horrible company! Bought a new house, previous owners had suburban propane tanks. We chose not to use suburban because their prices were higher than those in the area. They came within a day to lock the tanks once we decided to go with another company. The tanks were moved into our front yard and we were told they would be picked up by suburban but they were unable to give us a date for pickup. Weeks go by, calling regularly to find out when they will be picked up with no answer. After over a month, I was given a date, which came and went with no pickup. I just called again today and said they will be picked up over a month from now. They were very quick to lock the tanks and provide the refund for the propane in the tanks to the previous owner but absolutely ridiculous to wait two months to pick them up. Would absolutely not recommend this company for anything between their high prices and obnoxious wait times!

I do not recommend using this company. They have a lot of hidden fees and terrible customer service. I canceled my account and afterwards they made one last delivery to fill the tank. They told me they would refund me for the propane I did not use and pick up the tank. I've been waiting for over a year now. Every time I call they give me the same excuse that there is no technician in my area. I'm starting to suspect that they don't want to refund me for the propane because the price of gas is so high right now. Now I have 2 minisplit heat pumps and don't have to deal with this nonsense. So much cheaper and more effective.

Worst company ever!!! Do not use this provider!! No one in any part of the company has any Knowledge of accounts or anything. Computers down all the time. Rarely able to answer the phone. Hours and hours on phone waiting. It took me 3 months negotiating just to close my account.

Predatory tactics regarding price gouging. They will happily lock you into a one-year contract and as soon as that contract is up they will absolutely kill you with a rate hike. They certainly won’t give you any heads up. They did that to the nonprofit animal shelter for which I work. If they would do that to an animal rescue I’m sure they would happily do it to any resident or business.

1 Star for your driver blowing through a stop sign and cutting off my family on the 212. If your drivers are that inept I have to question their ability to handle propane and follow safety protocols.
