“I rented equipment from this U Haul in July 2023. First off, the U Haul center in Kingston's building is obviously a pretty old gas station from back in the day. But it seemed somewhat clean and organized. But way over crowded inside and out. This is probably the smallest U Haul center that I've dealt with, that wasn't just a small dealer in the country. So I can say that this U Haul does seem very cramped for space compared to other luxurious U Haul centers. But to their credit, they seemed to make do with "less" they have to work with. Poughkeepsie, Newburgh and Middletown all have huge buildings. Yet this place in the former capitol of New York, is the same old little gas station, for the last 30 years or more. Kudo's to the Kingston employees for making do and making it work.Anyway, I arrived at my pick up time. They got me hooked up and on my way without delay. I was even helped when it came to my ignorance of using my smart phone to upload my drivers license.When I returned the equipment later in the day, I found the same helpful staff.So all in all, I found my Kingston experience to be better than it should have. The staff all seemed helpful and did their job efficiently. The only issues I had, were U Haul's corporate policies that it places on the customer. Most of them make me want to go elsewhere.”
