As with all 'donation' stores you sometimes get lucky. At times I have been showered with the blessings of angels in this store. While renovating a house a few years ago I hesitated to order the (midrange) front door I liked at Lowes. Then I found a brand new top of the line door I knew retailed for over 4 grand here. It was $500. (The security hardware I had to special order was $350). Deal! A gorgeous queen 4-poster bed was $50. All the sinks I wanted. Someone left low stars for signs asking us not to bargain (like it was a personal insult). I just think of the poor employees who can't lower already reasonable prices and are hounded to the point where those signs are necessary for their sanity. Then they are further insulted on Yelp. I donate and shop here to support this great organization. Try it... you may get lucky too.

Over priced! Drove an hour to go here, realized there’s no parking especially if you’re handicapped like me. All the front row parking is designated for the employees which is very unprofessional. I was yelled at by a manager because she had park a spot further from the door. I would not recommend anyone to shop here.

I've never been embarrassed to write about my love for thrift shopping. I've purchased wooden chairs, chest of drawers, rustic end tables, funky lamp bases, metal home accessories, etc with no end in sight. And all it takes is a bucket of warm soapy water, a good cotton small towel to clean these hard surfaces. Now, where I seriously and I mean- seriously draw the line are sofas, mattresses, cushions, pillows, etc. and that to me, is just gross. No offense to anyone. Hubs and I noticed a gently-used $2300+ Pottery Barn dining table at this Kingston, NY ReStore for a flat $700. The poundage on this 8' monstrosity of a dinner table had me sold. Except, it was 2' too big for my dining room. But the price was killer. This ReStore is spacious with furniture gathered into groups. For instance, chest of drawers are grouped together, coffee tables in another group, lamps together, etc. There's leven a back room filled construction items like kitchen/bathroom tiles, hammers, etc ridiculously inexpensive. This is one of the best choices if you are looking for second-hand furniture.

Love this place, they have some really nice pieces and filter through stuff pretty quickly so there is always new inventory, but their prices have become totally insane! It's second hand stuff, most times with a lot of wear and they have it marked as if it's brand new. I know they are trying to profit so they can build as many homes as possible but wow I was shocked the last time I was in here.

Not where you’ll be finding real thrift deals. I’ve seen items here that are priced higher than they would be at target. I get having to make money, but at least keep a balance. Throw in items that a lower middle class family can afford, so everyone can get a couch.

A warning: media has been doubled in price as of June 2022. No signs, no explanation, just a fun little surprise when you get up to the register. The same thousands of no name 90s CDs from 2019 are still sitting on the shelves but maybe doubling the price will make them sell? It’s honestly baffling and I’m just embarrassed for them. I wouldn’t donate media to this place. Donate to Aid for Tibet thrift store down the road on 28. As the other reviewers state the prices on non furniture items are way too high. Higher than goodwill for stuff that would sell for 25 cents. I will not be supporting this store until they lower their prices back to reality or have better stuff.

This ReStore is a smidge more expensive than its siblings at Newburgh, Wappinger Falls and Hudson, BUT the stuff is very well curated and there are still great gems at reasonable prices to be found.

My new thrift store for furniture and furnishings. They have good quality used furniture at great prices. Houseware, glassware, light fixtures, paint ect. At most furniture needs a wet vac or wooden furniture a sand and repaint to look new.

All following comments must be balanced with the fact that this is a supposed charity but that is no excuse for unreliability. After making arrangements to have furniture I donated picked up, the driver was flakey and uncooperative and just left the furniture there after I made all the arrangements. Check all charities and reviews first. Giving should be painless and effortless
