I can’t say enough good things about the staff, all of the front desk staff, servers, bartender and housekeepers were so incredibly helpful and on top of things. “I hosted a large group of 25 on the site for a three day weekend in May. We reserved all of the riverside cabins for all three days and it was an outstanding time. The property is absolutely stunning, super well maintained, and contains both the beauty of modern amenities with the the rich tradition & culture of the brick factory of its origin.
There were many logistics to plan and the staff were responsive, always kind & professional and made our time such a smooth time. Whether it was coordinating check in, driving folks on carts to their doorstep, delivering firewood late in the evening or setting up the sauna in the early morning.
We had dinner at the mansion which was lovely. The cuisine matched fine dining of NYC and the rooms were masterfully curated. The menu is pricey but well worth it.
Looking forward to coming back with just my partner and to soak up more of the site. Highly highly recommend visiting if in the area and looking for a comfortable, modern, nature focused stay to soak up Upstate NY.”

“Great hotel with a perfect location. It’s very convenient for trips to the ski area or hiking in the Catskill Mountains—everything is within a 30-45 minute drive. I can’t say enough about the staff’s customer service; they truly went above and beyond our expectations and made us feel very welcome.
Our room was very clean and looked recently renovated, with new furniture and carpet. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made resting after a long day easy. We also really enjoyed the jacuzzi after a busy day—it was an excellent and relaxing experience. Highly recommend this hotel for both active trips and a comfortable stay.”

“The Hudson valleyTango festival was excellent as usual. I enjoyed myself. BUT MANY WOMEN COMPLAINED ABOUT HOW HARD THE FLOOR WAS. For me it was ok. The entertainment and music was superior. Hopefully it will come back next year in even a better venue”
