This is our second stay this summer. This time we rented a 2 bedroom cabin (last visit was a 2 bedroom suite) First, the positives: The location on the property for our cabin was nice. It had 2 parking spaces and a nice view of the lake from the front porch. The cabin was clean and the resort staff is very friendly. There is a large beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas. There is also a nice heated pool. There are tennis, basketball and a volleyball court. The property is less than 10 minutes into Lake George Village or Bolton Landing. Now the negatives, (none of which would keep us from staying again) the property is an older and could use some upkeep in the common areas such as the boathouse deck and the walkway/decks to access the boat slips. The furniture in the rooms could use some updating, as could the bathroom. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back again

First off we are staying in a two bedroom cabin with a living area and small kitchen in lake george. Not really expecting high end. Place was dated and needed some repairs. Rooms were clean, employees helpful. Location is nice. Beach area on lake is well kept. Pool area was nice enough. No food or supplies on property. I liked my stay but the price is high, but it was August in Lake George and they can get that price. I would stay again especially if with a large group.

Comfortable accommodations, well maintained. Our outdoor light was burned out but repaired immediately when I reported it to the office. Family centered but also nice for us-older adults. Tyler at the boathouse was friendly and very helpful when we rented kayaks. He is a hard working employee.

We had a great stay at Depe Dene. The staff was consistently polite and helpful. Customer service here is much better than often seen these days. The location is great. Right on the lake and an easy drive to the Lake George village and Bolton. The resort price includes use of the activities and it is easy to check out rackets/balls to use the courts.
The main area for improvement in the rooms themselves. If you are looking for rustic, this fits well. If not, keep looking. Two concrete areas I recommend - include one roll of paper towels to each room - spills happen when there is a kitchenette. Also - a lamp on the bedside stand would be helpful.

My stay at Depe Resort was one of the worst vacation experiences I’ve had. The biggest issue was a middle-of-the-night parking fiasco. No one told me there were assigned parking spots, and my assigned spot was already taken. Around midnight, I got a call to move my car. While I was trying to figure it out, a man from the neighboring guest house started screaming at me, using foul language in front of my family, and even threatened to tow my vehicle. When I spoke to the manager the next day, he admitted they “forgot” to inform me about the parking rules because they were too busy.
On top of that, the “quiet hours” policy is meaningless, people were making fires and talking loudly right outside our unit late into the night.
There’s also no dishwasher in the unit, and the policy says you should to wash dishes by hand or be charged extra, which is not exactly relaxing on a trip.
Finally, the pictures online can be misleading. Our deck looked private in the listing photos, but in reality, there was no privacy at all. Overall, this was a stressful, disappointing stay, and I would not recommend it.

We stayed for 1 night in the Round House suite. The view was amazing and the bedrooms were super cute, finding the suite was easy even in the dark with a late arrival. Ryley was super accommodating when booking our reservation. The convenience to Lone Bull Restaurant for breakfast was great.

This has been our 3rd year at Depe Dene and as it is still mid-week while we are here, I wanted to write a review while we are experiencing it!
Depe- Dene is a very good resort of families - and provides some of the best lakeside views in Lake George. We stay in the Round Top which is expensive but very worth it just for the atmosphere and view you get every morning!
The staff is very attentive to customers' needs and respond very quickly to all requests!
I highly recommend a stay at Depe Dene when you decide to stay in Lake George - they have all types of accomodations - I love the Top of The Round right on the lake - breathtaking!

We stayed at Depe Dene Beach side suite. Beautiful views, one flight stair into private beach, clean, under building parking, on demand tv free, two rooms, nice kitchen, patio with chair and tables facing lake view. Playground for kids, badminton, pool and water accessories rental. We recommend for families and couples.

Our experience here was truly incredible. Every morning, waking up to the stunning lake view was such a blessing. The front desk staff went above and beyond, always friendly and helpful. John, the maintenance guy, was fantastic—our grill unfortunately wasn’t working and he brought us a new one right away. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Nice property but very hilly hard to get to beach and walking back to cabin. Cabin rooms didn’t have AC. For the high price it wasn’t worth it.

Cabin community on the lake. Steep hill to climb up and down. Beds too hard. But that’s what glamping is all about.
