Great location, great communication with the team, very friendly staff and lovely property. I think the beds could use an upgrade but otherwise a lovely resort we will be excited to go back to!

Clean rooms. Small bathroom but overall a great stay. The grounds are so clean and so much activities to do with the kids. They have pickle ball court indoor pool is close by to the courts. Great family friendly facility. Great views as well! We also had great experience with the staff so attentive and super welcoming!!

We stayed here for a family reunion this past weekend. I had one of the Adirondack cabins, which is two bedrooms and two bathrooms. I have a mobility disability, using a crutch to walk and a brace on my foot. While the cabins have two steps to the porch, and a high step into the cabin I was able to access it. I used the porch railing for support going up and down the porch (there is not a railing on the stairs/steps) and placed one of the high back chairs by the door to help support access into the cabin.
The cabin was very nice, it has an open concept kitchen and living room. The kitchen has a two burner cooktop which was great to cook burgers and breakfast. There is a full-size refrigerator, plates, bowls, coffee cups, utensils, a coffee pot, microwave and toaster. The first bedroom has a comfortable double bed with attached bathroom. This bathroom had a separate room with the sink, a place to hang clothes and put your bags. You then go through the door where the toilet and tub are. This space is very tight, but I was able to manage it with my crutch. The tub does not have grab-bars, however the second bathroom attached to the second bedroom, has a walk-in shower with a grab-bar and built in place to sit. This shower worked great for me as it was easy to access. The space was tight, but I easily managed it with my crutch.
The grounds are wonderful. There is a tar path around the lawn area, and parking area by each cabin. I was able to use my wagon easily to bring my things to the cabin. The tar path made it easy for me to walk around and visit my family. The path leads to the entrance of the indoor pool, as well as the area where the grills are. If I were to travel alone I feel that I could easily manage getting around this property by myself. The lawn area has a playground, bocci pit, horseshoes, and several fire pits. All was easily visible from my porch, or easily accessible for me to walk across the lawn. Each porch had chairs that were a bit higher than the normal Adirondack chairs, which was good for me. The fire pits have the typical Adirondack chairs, which are lower and I cannot use, however it was close enough that I could easily bring my own chair over to enjoy it.
Ali and her crew were wonderful. First one of the staff met me at my room, and even though my sister came over to help me unload my car, this staff member jumped right into help. Ali told me to let her know if I needed anything. The staff came around everyday to see if we needed clean linens or our trash taking out. They were constantly working, tidying up the lawn area, checking to make sure everything looked great. Ali walked around the property several times a day to make sure everything was good.
Pros for me as someone with a disability are: walk-in shower (not every cabin has one so make sure to ask when you book), a walking path that was smooth and accessible to most everything on the property (the restaurant and front office are in the front but I could easily drive to get to those), the indoor pool has built-in stairs making it accessible for me, and parking right by the cabin.
There is not a railing on the stairs to get up on the porch, however some cabins have only one step to the porch which is easier. However the cabin I was in did have two steps, but I was able to manage it. If you have a walker you may want to ask for the cabin with one step, or a motel room on the first level. I only write about this to help others plan ahead for their visit.
This place was fabulous and a great spot for our reunion. I have booked again for next year.

Spent the last week here with my family and we all had an amazing time. The staff is wonderful, the area is gorgeous, and revived resort is so special. Super family friendly and comfortable. We had great meals at Antonio’s also - delicious food. We hope to visit again!

We came here many years ago and the new owners really upgraded everything! Ali is the perfect host. She gave us a tour last summer and we came back with the family this year. Brooklyn, Oregon and Dutchess county came together. The staff is friendly and efficient. The grounds immaculate! And the LAKE is as beautiful as ever.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Recent renovations when the current owners took over the property improved the facility dramatically. Great location, family, friendly, reasonable value for the area.

We left early, basically in the middle of the night due to beds that were unable to sleep that were horrendous uncomfortable. The floor or a piece of plywood would have been equal to the beds. Heater fan made an annoying rattle which contributed to the sleepless nightmare. Bathroom was also not very clean. Said place was remodeled in 2023, very difficult to see what was updated. For the amount they changed per night we expected A LOT better. Will never go there again.

Great location on Lake George. Room small. Not well equipped for minor handicap. Noisy room air conditioner.

An amazing resort to stay at! Ali and Mike were extremely helpful and kind. We were looking for a unit that was wheelchair accessible and they helped us out so much! They let us look in the units and even took off the bathroom door so the wheelchair could fit! Extraordinary service from the two of them. The house keepers were also very sweet and asked if we needed any help while packing up our car. The resort itself is gorgeous, modern and very clean. I cannot hype this place up enough for the service we received. Hopefully we will be back soon! Thank you guys!

The view on the lake is fantastic and the staff is very kind.
Special thanks to the pretty woman at the reception. Hot weather calls for cold ice 😄

We had been going to Loon Lake near Chestertown in the Adirondacks for a week in the summer for almost 40 years. But the owners retired & shut down their housekeeping cottages. We tried other nearby places but nothing was as good (until we found Bayside Resort). We just finished out 2nd yearly visit to Bayside. We are already signed up for Summer 2025.
Things to like about Bayside:
-- the owners really care about the property & keep it spotless
-- the owners are responsive, helpful & REALLY nice
-- where else can you find 2 bedroom & 2 bathroom cottages on Lake George (including small kitchen)?
-- great piece of land overlooking Lake George but on the peaceful east side
-- excellent air conditioning for those hot days
-- sandy beach on the lake (recently added nice chairs)
-- sitting on the large porches reading a book & drinking aperol spritzes
-- the possibility of a new outdoor pool next summer
-- daily room service
-- MANY hiking trails nearby
-- easy boat rentals nearby (we did a guided pontoon boat cruise this year)
-- reasonable prices.
Wishes for next year:
-- improved kitchen lighting
-- warmer water at indoor pool.

Amazing resort, with a pool, and more. We stayed here for a entire weekend, and it was wonderful. I look forward to coming back, and as well there is a beach, with a great view of the lake that is accessible to people of the resort
Rooms: Very clean and nice rooms.
Nearby activities: Boating and more are possibilities, as well as the village.
Walkability: Entire hotel can be traversed outside, or inside, and is easy to get around.
Food & drinks: A very nice restaurant called Antonios is built in, and serves amazing food.
