The hotel looks pretty from outside, but rooms definitely need to be updated. Problems with plumbing, scratches on furniture, old paint, all this makes you uncomfortable, especially when around much better options. And also, we are staying here right now, you easily can hear your neighbors and people passing by your room.Pity, really wanted to enjoy it, but couldn't as soon as returning to the room.

3 night stay at the Tiki Resort over delivered expectations on all levels given the poor reviews. We stayed in a 2 queen poolside room on the second floor and room was very clean and appeared to have been renovated in the last few years. Bed were very comfortable, rooms were cleaned daily, a/c worked great, nice clean bathroom, microwave and mini fridge both new and worked great, table with a couple comfortable chairs, nice flooring and simple decor. Flat screen TV worked well too. Pool was nice. Tiki bar has solid cocktails at $10 a piece, great in tourist area and bartender was very friendly. We did the Waikiki Supper Club one night during our stay and the show was fun. You're paying for the entertainment not the food so folks complaining about the $60 food are looking at it wrong. The food was just okay, I got the crispy orange beef and it was just like you'd get from any Chinese takeout, nothing wrong with it but you'd expect to pay $15 for it. As I said the ambiance of the supper club and the performers is what you're paying for and we had a fun time. Great for families and the kids chicken tenders and fries were good. Great location too as you can walk to a lot of spots within LG in less than 15 minutes and for the price this place is 5 stars! I paid less than $400 for 3 nights in August - come on you cannot beat that! I was prepared for the worst but was very happy with everything. Staff during check in was friendly, staff at dinner was very professional and as I said the bartender at the tiki bar was excellent! For an affordable taste of Polynesian on the strip in Lake George you can't beat the Tiki Resort - we would come again and recommend it.Walkability: Close to town, 15 minutes walk from a lot of the best stuff in LG.

It’s my second vacation in this Hotel 2018 and 2023. Unfortunately Nothing has changed very outdated rooms. Not the cleanest. Outdoor pool is good. Indoor pool dirty no clean towels available.Good location Thats all I can say on the good side. For $140 a night expected something a little better.

Let me start out by saying the trip itself isn’t bad. The location is convenient and close to all the stores and everything is in walking distance. However there were tiles in our bathroom cracked, the side of one of the mirrors was coming up. We went in the indoor pool for 5 minutes before realizing how dirty it actually was the walls on the opposite side of the towel rack are covered in mold from floor to ceiling and the pools water was mirky itself. I was so sketched out that we left and went back to our room. I loved the jetted tub and the fact the daytime staff come in and empty your trash and replenish towels without you having to ask but the cleanliness of this hotel needs a little bit of work overall. As for the young man who has been working the counter the past 2 days he is very rude and un informative he wasn’t just rude to me but also to my husband on 2 seperate occasions as we looked for directions. The older woman there working was absolutely wonderful! So all in all we just have a very mixed review and people who aren’t suppose to have dogs were also in our building heard barking and kids running and yelling all hours of the night.Walkability: Walkable distance to all shops.Food & drinks: All within walking distance.

LOOKS NOTHING AS ADVERTISED. Before booking, be aware that the property resembles a cheap motel. It is NOT a resort. It is dirty and outdated. There was hair in the shower and in the sheets. Everything was disgusting, we had to clean the room ourselves. The towels were also crusty and had an odor. The entire place has an odor. Not to mention you can only fit on the “balcony” if you are doing the electric slide. It can’t even fit a chair on it. There is one single fireplace that is crowded by shady locals who come in off the street. I saw several families disappointed when they couldn’t sit by the fire due to this. There is NO room service, the bar only has drinks and opens at 3pm. THERE IS NO GRILL, YOU CANNOT GET FOOD AT ALL AT THE BAR. The breakfast cafe is NOT complimentary. Basically, you have to pay to eat at a diner everyday for all meals or bring your own food. I saw several people asking about the grill at the bar only to be told there is none. When they say grill, I think they are referring to the little grills erect across the property to cook your own food. This is what I mean by deceitful! The dinner menu is only a few options and only available if you see the Polynesian dinner show. The Polynesian dinner show is not cheap and I highly recommend looking up the Tiki Resort Polynesian show on YouTube before you go see it, I won’t comment further on that. The pool is an ice bath. I have a pool at home that is not heated, so I am used to a cold pool, but this is literal ice cubes! There is also no hot tub, that is a kiddie pool in the photos. The indoor pool is not clean and definitely warmer than the outdoor pool, but still chilly. We left our trip early and will not be returning. There are way nicer places nearby that looked way cleaner. I’m honestly upset about the deceitful photos and overall presentation of the place. We literally brought fancy dresses and shoes! It’s a glorified camp ground. Just wanted to make everyone aware before booking! And if you do decide to stay here, ask for a room OVERLOOKING THE POOL! Those are as best as it will get. I am giving 2 stars as the location is excellent. It is located right near Lake George, the town, and several activities.Rooms: Dirty rooms.Nearby activities: Great location, a lot of activities nearby within walking distance.Safety: No security.

When I booked this hotel I was in a pinch due to the mold at the great escape lodge. I was nervous because of the reviews. Let me tell you don’t believe what you read. This resort was amazing. House keeping was beyond friendly and cleaned rooms for us daily even made our beds which I haven’t seen since Covid. The pool was a good size and the water was clean. The indoor pool wasn’t big but it was also clean. The rooms didn’t smell one bit and the beds were comfy and clean as well. A lot of the reviews that I read before coming gives you a very false picture of this place. If I had to stay here again I definitely would. It’s also very close to the village which was nice. The fireworks are also visible from this resort. Do not believe those negative reviews you read because none of it was true for our stay. And I had two rooms and both rooms were amazing. Highly recommend!!Nearby activities: Close to village 2 minute drive or 10 minute walkNoteworthy details: Very friendly staff

So, I stood at Tiki last year for 2 nights and gave it 5 stars. I raved about the service and location. The room wasn't spectacular but it was clean and served its purpose.I returned last week for 3 nights and it started off rough. I arrived just after 2ish to check in and was quickly told that my room was not ready...come back in an hour. I came back around 3:45pm, was told again by someone else that the room was not ready - try again in an hour. I returned at 5:05, the room was finally ready. My reservation stated official check-in is at 4pm. So I get it...my first time (last year), I was able to check in at 1:30. Perhaps I was lucky. But to have to wait till 5pm was a bit too much, especially when neighboring hotels have standard check-in times ranging from 2-4pm. The delayed check-in was a let down and somewhat ruined our plans for the day, but we made the best of it.The room itself was otherwise fine. Like before, nothing spectacular and clean enough. Housekeeping stopped by on day 2 (provided full service), and day 3 (provided partial service - new towels only). The hotel had a "seedier" vibe to it this go around...but I can't blame the hotel entirely for its guests' behavior.Ultimately, it was being turned away 2x and having to wait till after 5 that changed my thoughts about the Tiki. The check-out was just as indifferent...the person at the counter just grabbed the cards and said "you're good to go". Service goes a long way...Tiki missed it entirely on the way in and out.I won't give it one-star, but I think I'm being gracious by giving it 3 stars...it's closer to 2 stars at best. Will likely find another hotel to stay at when we return to Lake George.

I was so impressed with the quality of the rooms and location for the price, which was reasonably priced. The grounds are beautifully groomed, loved the fire pit by the pool. Had the best Pina colada ever in my life at the bar close to tge pool. The rooms were very quiet no loud people here, and about 1 mile from town and about a 10 min walk to million dollar beach. Breakfast was so good, and very affordable. Just wish we could have seen the dinner show, but they don't perform on Thursdays.

I have to admit, for the rate we paid ($ 108 per night, week days) I had no high expectations....but in life u get what u pay.-Rooms was really Nice & ok clean (Not 100%)-Location - Great, almost walking distance-General Look - Ok, it looks Old but Renovated..but still OLD.-Ecoustics - u can hear EVERYTHING from other Rooms, or if someone walks in the corridor, or if someone park he's car (we stayed on 2nd Floor, NO elevators)-Pool - Small but ok, no life Guard, bring your own towels, cause the one they give u, I doubt if ever was Washed.-Front Desk - 1 Star, not sure how to describe it.-Cleaning Service - we had no idea, no one informed us, but we need to ask in advance for cleaning your room, if not NO ONE will come.we booked 3 night but stayed only 2, cause we couldn't sleep.next door room had a Birthday party, in the corridor, started at 10pm...ended at 01:00am, music, noise, talk etc.at Midnight, I called the front desk....he asked me what do I want him to do ...???? for real....so I hang up !!!again, if u want a cheap motel, for about $100, its ok, but no more.we will not be back there, I rather to pay double, but have a relaxing time to enjoy vacation

This place is stuck in the 70s, including the original layers of dust on everything. Their pool was not only dirty but surrounded by used band aids. The probly once green grass surrounding the hotel had plenty of trash laying around in it, enough that i would never let my kids play there, or swim in the pool. Not to mention the complete rip off tiki dinner that costed us $189.00 for what easily could have gone for $60. Dont waste your time comeing here, its surrounded by nice hotels.

We go every year for the Ohana weekend. The staff is amazing, rooms are clean and well maintained for such an old establishment. Nice out door and in door pool. The cafe makes a tasty affordable breakfast. One of the last original Tiki bar's onsite. Make sure you catch the polynesian show.Noteworthy details: This is one of the last resorts from the 50's with a Tiki theme.

I have never stayed at a hotel where the floors would make your feet beyond dirty. Had to use towels to walk on after the shower. The shoes would stick while walking. And just about the rest of the room followed suit. The only thing going for it was location.Noteworthy details: Disgusting, dirty.
