Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. My hockey team was in Lake Placid for a tournament weekend. The no teeth tattooed bonehead threatened our kids daily. He stated he was going to kick them out. 9 year old children. Kids were running and playing knee hockey. Stan the “manager” could not make a decision or understand his own rules. Very confrontational!!!! The worst experience !! Teams avoid avoid avoid this hotel.

We had a great stay at the Adirondack Inn this weekend. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and accommodating, and they go above and beyond to make your stay nice.To be honest, the building itself is a little older and dated. That didn’t bother us, but if you’re looking for a luxury stay you may not be happy here. That being said, the staff goes out of their way to work with what they have. Everything was spotless, the pool area was full of fresh clean towels, and the breakfast was presented nicely and refilled often. The hotel is located in a great spot for walking around town, and we particularly enjoyed a soak in the hot tub and sauna after skating and hiking in the cold.

My stay at the Best Western Adirondack Inn was nothing short of marvelous! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, providing insights into the local area and catering to every need. The room itself was a haven of tranquility. With plush bedding, modern amenities, and a view that took my breath away, it was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring Lake Placid. The cleanliness and attention to detail in the room were impeccable. What truly set this Inn apart was its location. Nestled in the scenic beauty of the Adirondacks, it was a stone's throw away from the serene Mirror Lake and the bustling Main Street. Whether I wanted to indulge in outdoor activities or explore local shops and eateries, everything was within easy reach. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful way to start the day. The variety and quality of food were excellent, with enough options to please any palate. The highlight of my stay was the cozy, fireside lounge area. It was the perfect spot to unwind and mingle with other guests, sharing stories of our adventures in Lake Placid. In conclusion, the Best Western Adirondack Inn isn't just a place to stay; it's an experience. It blends comfort, convenience, and the natural beauty of Lake Placid into an unforgettable getaway. I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to return!

Our family has been staying at the Adirondack Inn for many years. Hands down, our favorite place to stay in Lake Placid! The rooms are great and the staff make you feel at home. And the breakfast buffet is terrific. It's in a spacious, well appointed room that truly makes you feel at home. And the location is perfect...easy walking distance to everything downtown Lake Placid has to offer.

It's my 4th time staying here and it's always a great option, but it can get really expensive coming on the season. It's a very basic hotel, but everything works in the beds are comfortable. I usually just come here for a bed to sleep in while I go hiking and whatnot.

Coffee and a variety of juices were available. There also were cereals, yogurt, fruits and plenty of seating.

Rooms need a bit of updating and parking spots are a bit tight. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. The pool temperature was perfect for just jumping in.Rooms: Need some updating but otherwise pretty comfortable beds.Nearby activities: Lots of shops, plenty of eating spots, and a small beach behind the hotel. Across the street from the Lake Placid "Miracle on Ice" ice rink and museum.Safety: Lots of cameras in premises. Pool closes at 10pm.Walkability: All food eateries and shops are in walking distance.

It is at the center of Lake Placid Main Street. You can walk over to all attention at Main Street. The room is clean and the staff are friendly. I love my stay here.Nearby activities: It is the opposite of the Olympics Center and next to Mirror Lake. All attractions are walkable distance don't even need to drive. Parking & breakfast are included. They also offer cookies, water & hot drinks for full day. I definitely enjoyed my stay here for a 3 days weekend.

The room is kind of old-fashioned, the location and the service is good. The Lady Gloria at the breakfast service is very kind and friendly.

This hotel had the standard amenities. The sink area was very well lit. The shower needed handles. My tour group was seniors and many were concerned with slipping in the tub. Also, there no ledge to place your toiletries while showering.

Stayed here recently for a trip to Lake placid. Atmosphere is quite dated but there was great amenities for the price. Hot tub, sauna, indoor pool, workout center, good continental breakfast, and coffee/hot cocoa around the clock. Overall, rooms were well sized and reasonable. The balconies are shared which was not apparent from the website. Overall would stay again, but would recommend some updates to the interior.

Expertly run by friendly and helpful staff. Built in the 60’s but fits as a mountain lodge. So easy to get into the village and walkable. Olympic Training Center and Museum are right across the street. We arrived on the first Saturday in October and we’re no aware there was an Octoberfest going on! Even though there were some revealers in town we didn’t hear anything except the mountain wind at night. Highly recommend!
