This place is great. It's not an upscale, amenity-filled gym like most people are accustomed to (no pool, sauna, etc.), but if you're in town as a tourist it's the perfect place to get a killer workout in. It seems a bit underwhelming when you first walk in, as you enter into a room with a few standard cardio machines. The next room is another smaller room with about 20 or so standard weightlifting machines. But when you enter the weightlifting room you can tell this place is legit. They have pretty much every piece of weightlifting equipment you could need: squat rack, leg press machine, row machine, lat pulldown, flat/incline/decline bench stations, three squat stands, plenty of dumbbells, smith machine, a seemingly endless amount of bumper plates, and a few bins laying around that have extra pieces in them like curl bars, lifting belts and more. There's also a fourth room that has a bunch of stationary bikes and padded flooring that I'm assuming they do spin classes and yoga classes in, which I've used to do core workouts. They take cleanliness seriously, so make sure you bring an extra pair of shoes. They don't let you wear your outdoor shoes inside the gym

I've seen all the gyms that the saranac lake area has to offer, between slove and the hospital this one is my favorite. I'm more of a bodybuilder / powerlifter and this gym has just about everything I need. This gym has a relatively vast selection of cardio equipment, and individual showers and dressing areas. The staff seems to be pretty lax and I think there are some pretty talented trainers available there. The 5 star rating is relative to the area, if I were to give this gym a score in comparison to all gyms I'd give it a 4 because it doesn't possess the above and beyond features a 5 star gym would, like a pool for example.

This is best fitness spot in Town. Definitely try Hiitfit with Bryce Stanton on Wednesdays from 5-6pm & 6-7pm. 5$ if you're a member & 10$ if your not. You won't regret the workout ??

You can be a world class athlete who has won Olympic gold or never picked up a weight in your life, Fitness Revolution is for everyone who wants to work hard, feel good and meet a lot of other great, like minded people who are all dong the same. I've always loved fitness but it wasn't until I joined Fitness Revolution that it became a way of life.

Really great gym! Has any and all equipment you would need! We stayed in lake placid a couple of days and they gave us 24 hrs access for when they weren’t staffed. Looks small from the outside but has rooms of a ton of stuff. Has everything you need from machines to free weights and stuff idk what you do with! Haha. If you’re staying in lake placid or nearby this is the place you need to come workout at!
