My first experience with this company was absolutely fantastic! Melissa was professional, kind and incredibly helpful. Truly a gem who bent over backwards to help me figure things out. Her, her manager and their driver Kyle have gone above and beyond to get my vehicle home! The company is great, employees are wonderful and their prices are fair. We will only be using Hoffman Towing from here on out - thankyou again!

The entire team was great, but Melissa was the easiest point person ( fair defense she was the only contact : )) We hit deer sadly and were 300 miles from home to which they towed our car from lake placid to Boston. They made the insurance process which is tough a better experience. I would highly recommended with any and everything!! Than you Hoffman towing!!!

On vacation, my vehicle had a no start problem. The techs at Hoffman ran down the issue, provided a detailed explanation of all the tests and findings by phone and text. They got my vehicle back to me in two days so I could use it to get home with an on time departure. I could not be happier with their system. With that said, this is not your usual shop. They do not have an office. All work is by appointment only. Appointments are made online. I had my vehicle towed by that well known travel towing company and they knew right where Hoffman is. I had to manually input the address into the online service request for the towing company as Hoffman is not one of their sponsored shops. I would definitely send my vehicle here again.

I am not one for reviews but I must say I am very pleased with the service hoffman auto provided for my 2014 cadillac. I have had nothing but headaches going to other mechanics trying to figure out my front end problem and hoffman auto knocked it out the ball park. Not only did they find the issue quickly but the communication was excellent giving me updates which is very important to me. Very impressed with how fast, friendly and professional their team is.

This shop has good reputation that is why I had my vb wrx tuned here. Taylor is honest and professional. He is easy to communicate with. He treats his customer with respect. I am glad I found this place and really enjoyed the service.

When I realized my car keys had been lost somewhere on Whiteface mountain I didn’t know what to do. Through AAA I was connected with Hoffman Towing, these guys will not let you down. Incredibly kind and down to earth guys.

I am not one to write a bad review but this place was outrageous. All I needed was an oil change and they charged me 184 dollars. This was my first time going as well. I’m a young female and yes I don’t know a lot about cars but I know I’ve had several oil changes and never had to pay almost 200 dollars.The customer service itself also was shocking. Never did they once contact me about my car being done so when I got there it took 20 minutes to someone to finally talk to. When the correct guy came down he accused of me being incorrect on never receiving the text. He complained that he had to go back up to send the text again. When I finally got the text and paid he dangled the keys in front of me said show me the proof you paid so I don’t have to walk about up to the office again. What a pig.I hope no young females ever go here. And I will never be returning.Service: Oil change

We were traveling across the US when the brakes of our european Sprinter failed in Lake Placid. Bad enough, but on top of that we were pressed for time. Taylor and his guys went out of their way to help us. They saved us having to tow it to the nearest Mercedes workshop, got the spare parts and installed them in a flash. And at a really reasonable price. Our Sprinter now brakes perfectly again. You really can't expect that much commitment. In addition, we were warmly welcomed and looked after by Taylor's wife in the adjoining café while we were waiting. What wonderful people everyone! Thanks so much! If we lived there, it would be our main workshop. Competence, commitment and speed. Fully recommended!
