  Newman's news is on Main St across from Grand Adirondak Hotel. Opens early with fesh coffee. Collections of trinkets, patches, clothing, and mugs. Also has unique finds like books about the Adirondacks, selection of cigars, large array of children's toys. Worth a visit.

  We love collecting patches on our vacations and Newman's news had so many to chose from. We were really impressed. Staff was friendly and helped us. Thanks Newman's News!

  Open early in the morning til late at night. Nice selection of mugs and trinkets etc. And the only ATM that worked for our Visa card in all of Lake Placid. Not even any of the banks worked.
