“The winter wonderland was nice but charging $20 for a 2 year old is an absolute joke. $60 for 3 people is an absolute joke. $15 for adults, $5 for children is reasonable for what this offered.”

“For a small theatre what a great surprise. The show Jersey Boys was fantastic. 3rd room was a perfect place to view the show... but all seats are good... and great prices. We will be back.”
“The instructions are great. There are so many types of crafts to choose from. You get to meet others. I go with friends and have a great time talking with others as well as the instructors.”
“Night at the race's was great! There was a tense moment when one of the jockeys wanted to just give up. But the horse wasn't having it and picked her up.
The last race was Great. The 5 and 6 horses were neck and neck for a long time. Screaming was audible for miles!
Great company, food,and laughter.
Thank you to all the Elks, especially Rick and Sandy. Great job!”
“Took my family here today and there was a good selection of clothing, shoes, jewelry - really anything you can think of! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, especially Sue who helped check us out. The best way I could describe the atmosphere is like visiting an old friend who you haven’t seen in a while - an overall positive experience and some great finds.”
“You need to be a member, which at the moment I'm not. Hands down the best Portuguese cuisine I have ever had from the shrimp to the cod or skirt steak phenomenal!! Thank you ?”
“Canine Companions is the premier organization providing service dogs to people with disabilities other than blindness. Their dogs are amazing! They create independence, confidence and hope for thousands of individuals in the United States and their families. I know, because I have had three service dogs from Canine Companions. My latest service dog, Delbert, will be retiring soon see pictures on this review. He is supersmart, loyal and creates a I space for me to be as independent as possible without having to call for others to assist me, as did my other two service dogs, Tess and Janus.
Unlike many other organizations this one does not charge for a service dog once you are approved and go through the process of certification. Individuals and their families who apply and get accepted to the program will spend two weeks (depending on the program's parameters) in the training facility based on their
geographic region or specific dog they are applying for, i.e., dogs for individuals with hearing impairments.
The staff are truly professional they devote their lives and care about every individual dog and the person they are matched with. I have been with this organization for over 30 years and I can tell you from personal experience that I have never seen the more devoted group of individuals. I have seen the growth in the program and training and I have never seen a decline in the quality of dogs or training personnel.
Another plus, is the fact that I get to meet the puppy raisers and stay in touch with them if I wish. I always had great experiences with them and have maintained lifelong relationships with these selfless people. If you are considering getting a service animal, whether you are a veteran, a family of an individual with an intellectual or developmental disability, someone who is deaf or hard of hearing or an individual with a physical disability, consider, Canine Companions. They are a professional organization that creates independence for people with disability every single day.”

“Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!All I can say is that this was the best place to have my daughter's sweet 16. Everyone is a pleasure to work with. Claire and her staff are wonderful people. Their service is outstanding!! The food and dessert is delicious. We celebrated our daughter's Sweet 16 and everything was perfect. From the first time meeting with Claire and booking this venue to the day of the party was such a great experience. Thank you to all at the elks lodge for making our party the best day ever!!”
“The visitor center is closed during the weekend, but the area is free to visit.
There are a few natural trails, the swamp one lacks maintenance but it's part of the experience and it's fun. Lots of birds around.
Thanks for all the volunteers for keeping this up!”

“Shopping at the Habitat for Humanity of Long Island ReStore is an absolute win-win for any DIYer, homeowner, or bargain hunter. Not only do you stumble upon incredible deals on gently used and brand-new furniture, home appliances, lighting, and building materials, but every purchase directly supports building affordable housing right here in our community.
The inventory is constantly rotating, making every visit a fun treasure hunt where you never know what unique vintage piece or high-end hardware you might find. The staff and volunteers are consistently welcoming, knowledgeable, and eager to help you load up your finds. It is easily one of the best spots on Long Island to score quality home goods while sustainably keeping usable items out of landfills and supporting a truly wonderful local mission. Highly recommended!”

“It’s hard asking for help....my husband and I never had to before.we lost our jobs and were evicted from our apartment at the same time, this devastated us. Our daughter and my granddaughter all were evicted. We moved into a trailer and we had no idea what we could do. Our trailer had 1 bedroom we were very crowded to say the least. We had no money and no food. I felt sad because of my beautiful granddaughter. I found Harmony Cafe by luck. I got a call from Rose and she dedicated herself to Harmony Cafe she talked to me and arranged to come by my trailer, she was so easy to talk to and I told her we needed food bottled water diapers etc. she was very easy to talk to she came with so much! This is a great organization they get donations and give it to people who are going thru bad times.thanks Rose you are a godsend!”

“Such an amazing place! My daughter has been so happy here. The teachers treat my daughter as if she was there own and she cannot wait to go back every day. She has learned so much, and they were so helpful with the transition process. Very interactive including several field trips, guest speakers, events and more! I cannot recommend this place enough. Over the summer my daughter has not stopped talking about going back to school and every time we pass the building she asks to go to school.”
