What makes it great is... the air conditioned.,clean waiting room,with a specialty coffee experience and biscottis! Nice magazines to browse thru also.
If you are tired of having to deal with years of going to greasy ,smelly,dirty shoppes with rude mechanics..then this will be the opposite of that.
It is family run. The father and son team are very polite and answer all your questions. No matter what the weather..you are safe inside as you wait for your car to be repaired.

“May of '25 i brought my truck in for a new transmission. Tom was fantastic. When it was done and I picked it up,he told me to drive it for a week and bring it back for him to check it. Did that, everything was great. He gave me a two year warranty. This week,I heard a noise,brought it to him Wednesday,diagnosed it,fixed it and picked it up Friday, zero charge.
Tom is an honest transmission guy, he is kind, kept us posted on what was going on, and he was reasonably priced. If I could give him 10 stars,I would. I highly recommend them.

“They replaced a blown transmission fuse Honest guys didn’t try to charge me anything extra . Said if you need a fuse to fix your car you get a fuse if you need a transmission to fix your car you get a transmission .”
“Great people. I had them replace the transmission seals on my classic mercedes over the winter. After I resinstalled the tranny, it was leaking transmission fluid. Brought it in and they fixed MY mistake (loose banjo fitting) and installed new washers - NO Charge. I figured it might have been my mistake but I just didn't want to crawl under it again - I expected to pay something. They went above and beyond. A few years ago, they installed a rebuilt transmission in my explorer - it ran great. It's great when you can find a shop that knows what they are doing and you can trust.”
“My family and I have brought our cars to SBG for many years. Staffs are friendly and personable. They usually have availabilities when we call. Prices are reasonable and they work with you. Yesterday I brought my car in because the wiper was not working. Brock found the left ball joint was not installed properly and noticed a bubble in the rear tire. The ball joints were done by Honda Manhasset dealership last month (total cost $2000) and the bubble was not caught by Mobile shop that did the NYS inspection last week. Aside from the money and time spent, very disheartening to learn how irresponsible people can be and do such messy jobs without considering potential consequences. Serious car accidents could have occurred. Brock and his team went and fixed these problems. Glad to know shops like SBG are around.”
