Horrible bank with the worst customer service I've ever witnesse. If you're looking for a bank that will make accessing your money harder than bobbing for apples this bank is for you. If you're looking for a bank who's app never works and declines atm withdrawals from banks they call partners this bank is for you. if you're looking for a bank where the tellers are always miserable and look at you as if you're an inconvenience to them then this bank is for you.

Lancaster location sucks! I have been a customer of alden state bank for a long time. I usually go to the bank in Alden but the past two days I’ve stopped at the location in Lancaster. Both days i have had terrible customer service. The first day i had to deposit a check into my account and the lady gave me cash mind you im in a time crunch. I tell her i needed it in my accounts she says “oh oopsies” then proceeded to take 10 mins to add the money to my account. A simple deposit took 20 mins. Today i went to cash another check, i didnt have my id and they said they couldnt cash it. I gave them my ss number and birthday but refused to cash it even though I’ve cashed a check without id numerous times. Terrible customer service at least act like you want to be at work

Applied for a relatively small mortgage just abt 7 weeks ago. Have a good steady job with excellent work history, no outstanding debt, excellent credit rating...no reason to deny or even think about denying. Even have longstanding personal & small business accounts with ASB--no overdraft issues etc. After applying, the only communication from bank was 1 answered call from us 2 wks ago - They told us we would hear from them by end of LAST week. As of today 9/21, nearly 7 weeks later, STILL no mortgage commitment, & Bank Rep is dodging calls from both us & the real estate agent--we have no update whatsoever. *HORRIBLE customer service!!* But they kind of have us. If we didn't already pay the $400 fee - the only thing they were quick about--taking that out of the account - we would so shop elsewhere. You may want to as well if you're looking for a mortgage.FYI I worked for a bank for 20+ yrs & am a Cust Relations Mgr. This is NOT how business should be done!When this ordeal is over, we will most likely move our accounts to a bank that appreciates our business & respects our time.

Terrible fraud protection! My business debit number was stolen. There were over 100 transactions that got through for four days before the card was flagged. Over $4000 was stolen. I was told it could take up to two weeks to get my money back. It's been three weeks and I haven't seen anything. When I call to check on the status, I get a short and unsympathetic response from a bank employee. As a business owner, this is my third week of not being able to give myself a paycheck. I have three accounts with this bank for several years and this is how they are "protecting" my money.

This is a great small local bank. For over 40yrs they have provided good reliable, convenient, and accurate service for us. As with any banking facility, one must shop around for the best interest rates to suit your needs. Not one bank will fill all your requirements.

Easy to work with, w regards to an financial and/or even all banking for that that I've Bad the pleasure of dealing m with previously. They take them time to get to know there consumers, making it an inviting environment one in which that at was someone will always feel invited in.
