After I canceled my unit and moved my stuff out, they kept billing my bank account. You're probably thinking that I didn't notify them or something, but I assure you that I notified them and filled out the paperwork, etc. I didn't notice I was being billed for a few months, and then when I talked to them about it, they made all sorts of promises about paying me back but it's never happened. I'm not very impressed. I've had to call and talk to them repeatedly and nothing's ever come of it. They just keep blaming their computers. I'm just not happy about it and I can't recommend them. I'd suggest you stick with professionally run large company storage units. I've never had issues like this with any of those firms.
I've had various trailer storage and storage units, and it's always the small fly-by-night operations that jerk me around. The big outfits Never do stuff like this.

Sarina at Public Storage was incredibly helpful and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. When I found out I had a non-temperature-controlled unit, she helped me switch to a temp-controlled one and even made sure I kept the same promotion I originally had. She clearly explained everything, kept me updated throughout the process, and made sure there were no extra costs. She even saved me the trouble of walking all the way back by grabbing the old lock from me herself—just one example of how she goes above and beyond for customers. She followed up with a call afterward to make sure everything was good, which I really appreciated. Excellent service from start to finish!
