The pharmacy staff are absolutely wonderful. But my complaints are they seem to be grossly understaffed, as phone calls are extremely difficult to get picked up, window waits for an initial customer interaction are rather long at times, and everyone is running around seemingly 24/7 busier than a fast food place during rush hours. I won't give low stars because the staff don't deserve that slap in the face, but there's definitely some internal issues with hiring management to not have more people available.

Rite aid was making Covid appointments just after the vaccine came out. I drove several miles to this appointment. When I got there they informed me that they weren't giving shots that week. My question is why make appointments and have people drive there to be told no shots being given. This is poor service and not caring about customers. Either don't make appointments that won't be honored or a courtesy call canceling the appointment. I went to Walgreens and they couldn't have been nicer.

I always feel confident in the staff. I know they will have an answer for any questions I may have. They are knowledgeable and at the same time, make you feel like you're not just a customer. They know me by name and most times have my medicine in their hands by the time I get to the counter.

They are horrible at answering the telephone. I called there at least 10 times and they never answered the phone. I left the Rite Aid Broadway in Depew for the one on Central Avenue in Lancaster and both stores do the same thing you can call and call and call and never have anyone answer the phone. This is a totally unacceptable practice. after waiting several hours and not hearing from the Rite Aid store I went there to find out that my prescription was not approved by my insurance company. Someone should have called and told me. How rude.

I have been having my refills done here for the last 3 years. Within 3 years I can count on one hand the times I have been there where my prescription was ready without there being some kind of issue that seems to be with insurance or billing that was solved with one phone call to my doctor, in which they said they have been trying to contact. I always have to take matters into my own hands and call my doctors or insurance myself. I am notified by both, that there has not been any calls, emails, or faxes from Rite Aid to either place. When on the phone with most employees or pharmacy staff they are rude and can careless about helping solve the problem. It must be terrible to work there!

The telephone service is horrible, or should I say non-existent. I called and there are no options whatsoever to direct to any department. A computer picks up tells you the store's hours of operation and then hangs up. There are no other options. This is poor, just plain useless. Why they even list a telephone # is a mystery. UGH

This Rite-Aid location is the best bar none. The Pharmacy goes above and beyond to help you. I could not be happier with the service that they provide. Thank you for providing the customercare that we rarely see anymore.

I have been getting my prescriptions through this Rite Aid location for several years. The Pharmacy staff gets to know who you are and they are very professional and courteous. I have absolutely no complaints about them and they have always given me quality medications. I also like Rite Aids text message communication system and their online payment system. I find it very efficient.

Where do I begin I can't even start without ready to call my attorney. At this point this is where I am at I need a new medication. I know I don't have insurance taken care till Monday but this place won't even take a savings card. Than they have to order the medication. I was told the medication would take 24 hr which is today. I called and was told my insulin was not going to be in till Monday. Why is this place still open . Rite aid needs to be investigated because they only care if they get insurance money not private pay. Well rite aid looks like you just want to comment insurance fruad do you get kick backs are you getting extra money from the I think I need to change pharmacy

I would give this experience a 4.99 out of 5 because I asked for a bag and did not receive a bag.

Literally the worst pharmacy to deal with. 1/2 the pharmacy staff is rude and have no customer service skills. But I’m finding that this is a Rite Aid issue as a whole. Stop hiring miserable employees.

I was a customer at the pharmacy. Firstly, your pharmacist Kristine, needs to work not only on her attitude but her professionalism as well. I could hear her making snarky comments to her associate about me. Also, she said very abrasively and loudly, my private insurance information across the pharmacy. She should be reminded of discretion in health care. Also, I was told over the phone that my medication would be $35 but it ended up being $50 when it was picked up. I could not dispute this because I was told to come back to pick up my script (which took 3 hours), and I had to have someone go in my place. I understand that I’m not the only customer, but normally they have you wait while they fill your medication. I’ve been to high volume New York City pharmacies with less staff and never have I had to wait 3 hours to pick up a script. I can’t justify it taking that long at a local pharmacy with a pharmacist and 2 techs. I could tell the pharm tech was trying to make up for the pharmacist’s rude behavior and I appreciated that. However, I will not be returning. I’d rather go to CVS where the staff isn’t blatantly rude, and more eager to help.
