I had a cut and color job with Jennie and let me just say I am not impressed. She cut my bangs completely off and gave me the wrong color. On top of it, I had to suffer listening to the X-rated gossip of the local area.... made me want to throw up in my mouth. Felt like I was a bother and that the work was rushed. Will be DEFINITELY finding a different salon next time for me and the kids!

Cathy (maybe Kathy?) is awesome! And the best part is that this is a local place, so by going here, I'm keeping the money in the community. I always look forward to getting a haircut here and having a nice chat!

Everyone at Styles & Smiles is terrific - clean, professional, knowledgeable and fun. I've been going there for 16 years for hair cuts, coloring, etc. I have NEVER had a bad experience. I have also referred men to Kathy and all have been very happy with her cuts.

I had been going to Kathy for cuts for a little while but recently, she botched things up so badly that I won't be back. First off, I told her that I didn't want the cut to go short past a certain point because I had a bump on my head (ugh!) which would show if it was short. What does she do? The complete opposite of what I had asked--she shaves it super high and the bump sticks out like a sore thumb. I tried to keep my cool and mentioned how I'd rather have not had that happen and she says: "oh, well next time tell me before". I couldn't believe it! Don't worry there won't be a next time--it's not as if I can't find a decent barber that will actually listen to what I want. Not only that, I told her that I wasn't in the mood to chat and all she did was chat my ear off. I should have refused to pay for that torturous cut.
