“It was a busy morning and I had important meetings out of town…and a flat. The guys at Mavis patched my tire and got me back on the road like lightening!”
“Came here at 1 o’clock with a loud exhaust leak and left with it fixed within the hour and an oil change. Really great quick service. Been to most of the garages in Ithaca and this has been the best experience. Will be coming back.”

“Dan is a gift to Shannon tires. I needed a full set of tires on short notice and he fit me in. I’m sorry to hear he’s retiring and I’m happy for him!”
“I had my complimentary oil change at the dealership where I leased my car in Canandaigua, NY on March 7th, 2026. On my way home from work on Monday, March 16th my low engine oil light came on. When I got home I tried contacting my dealership and couldn't get anyone to answer in the service department. I called up Mr. Tire in Ithaca and spoke with Chad Campbell and explained my situation. This was at 6;00pm, Chad asked if I could bring my car in within a few minutes and I said yes. They are only open until 7pm. When I arrived at Mr. Tire, Chad asked Tyler to check my oil. Tyler checked it and said I definitely had a leak. I asked what he could do and he said he could put it on the lift to see where the leak was coming from. It appears when the dealership I had my oil change at lost an original part and used something else it didn't work and caused the oil to almost completely leak out. The screw or bolt that fits in the plug was missing and oil was leaking from the filter and out through the missing piece. Tyler not only showed me the problem but then changed out the filter and added oil and fixed it so it no longer leaked. He not only fixed the problem but did it in a timely manner and had me out of there by 7pm right before closing. I was very appreciative to both Chad for getting me in so quickly and to Tyler for fixing the problem and getting me back on the road. I highly recommend Mr. Tire in Ithaca, NY for any car repairs or even just an oil change. They are top notch in my book and made me avery happy customer. Thanks a million to Chad and Tyler for a job well done!”
“Monro was responsive, thorough, and affordable. They made it easy to tow in my car with a flat tire, patched it quickly, and when the tire needed more repair, fixed it without extra charge. Highly recommend!”
“Was having a rough start to our race weekend with a flat on our 5th wheel trailer. Brought the tire into Justin and his team and he immediately stated he thought they had one in-stock. Asked if I could pick it up next day and he stated would be ready in less than an hour.
Great customer service and the smile and handshake I needed to turn a bad start into a better result.
Thanks”

“We had such a great experience with Don! He was able to get us in on short notice and took the time to answer all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. We really appreciated him accommodating us and would definitely recommend Don to anyone looking for a reliable mechanic!”
“Two years ago, I changed four tires here. During this period, my tires were punctured several times by iron nails. They helped me repair the tires for free, and even helped me change one tire for free. Their service is really great. I sold my car and bought a new car two days ago. I will come here again when I change my tires next time. A place worth recommending.”

“Yesterday was a day from hell for my family. They got us in so quickly, and within the hour I kid you not we were back on the road. Made my life so much easier when we were in a very challenging spot. Thank you 🙏🏼! Communication and kindness across all the staff is genuine and refreshing. When life is stressful, a friendly face and feeling helped is such a blessing. Also - I think the big fluffy well mannered dogs are highly trained in top notch customer service too. ☺ We appreciate y’all!”
